Hello Patrons! I've spent the last week working mostly on the Oblivion script and a little bit on an Oblivion related Aprils Fools video. It'll make more sense in 3 weeks. Anyways, I've attached an image which summarizes the amount of work that's in the script so far. Things have been going faster because I'm currently in a section that doesn't require as much research.
I also recorded a full playthrough of Pandemic's Battlefront 2, and started drafting a script. The reason I do these side projects is that I write everyday, but I don't consistently record voice-overs or do any kind of editing unless I make videos. I also have found that it helps prevent me from "hitting the wall" creatively to be able to switch gears and work on something else. If I worked on the Oblivion video purely it would take the same amount of time, just with a lot less to show for it because I would have to find other ways around writers block.
Onto some gear news, today I put an order in for a new microphone, an Austrian Audio OC18, using money made from the premium revenue on the Morrowind video. I'm also mapping out some sound treatment solutions for my workspace, which will be paid for thanks to your donations. Audio quality is super important to me when it comes to the longer videos, and I want a working setup with the new stuff by the time the script is finalized.
I've considered getting into livestreams. The problem is they are a form of content I generally don't watch so I don't really know what I would be doing. Any feedback on this would be appreciated.
