This is actually a goal I have set out already. With audio streamed both ways to a host system it becomes possible to use with an AllStarLink Node without any extra hardware, just the radio and a comms cable.

That would be my dream! I am already eagerly waiting to turn my RT-880 into a remote CB station. I hope so much that you will find time to implement this after the APRS story. I guess that would be the world's best and simplest remote station for that price! So awesome!

2025-10-06 06:50:40 +0000 UTCThe sample rate is 8K so the nyquist is 4K, but the noise is just coming from my environment being picked up by the transmitting radio.
