Combining RT-880 Antennas
Added 2025-08-28 11:28:02 +0000 UTCIn order to try to get the scope working in the Si4732 Tuner HF bands, this is the contraption I came up with. It works but... it scares the cheese out of me. I'm pretty sure if I were to accidentally transmit while this monstrosity is wired up, it would fry the Si4732 to death. So, not something I would recommend.

The problem is the 880 can TX on HF. You could use one to block VHF/UHF getting through, but if the user ever transmitted on HF, the diplexer would let it through.
