I think I understand, you want to use APRS to transmit a position beacon when you key-up, but have that transmitted WITHOUT a squelch tone, then when it's finished, turn the squelch tone on so listeners who have that squelch tone set for RX do not hear the packet radio tones?

2025-08-08 19:02:09 +0000 UTCI have the app loading on macOS, but it doesn't connect to read/write over serial. I see two serial ports appear when I plug the radio in, but neither work. Verified I have the chipset driver loaded for the USB programming cable. I tried a non programming usb cable just for giggles. Has anyone got it to work on macOS here?
