Added 2025-08-03 18:44:29 +0000 UTCI thought it best to make a new post as the old one is a bit stuffed with releases now.
ALPHA08 now has scanning. This works a little differently to other versions
Setup the scan in the "Scanning" menu category.
Start the scan by long pressing 3 as before, this will start either channel/group scanning or VFO scanning depending on your current mode. For VFO scanning, the values prefixed "VFO" in the scanning menu will be used. This is: "Scan from what's in the menu"
Long press 4 and the current VFO's frequency, step, bandwidth and modulation will be copied to the scan settings and the scan started. This is: "Scan from here"
Tone Monitor implemented in VFO menu.
Settings reset to default can be done by powering on the radio with the emergency button pressed.
Long press functions so far
0 = Edit RX Frequency
3 = Start Scan (From Menu)
4 = Start Scan (From Here)
5 = Reverse
6 = Busy Lock
9 = Multiwatch
EXIT (RED) = Enter TX Frequency
* = Keylock
# = Enter group

You probably have this is mind already but if not it will be neat that when you want to save a frequency to a channel if that position is already occupied the respective channel name to show in the more information window or at least to show occupied. It will make channel management on the radio itself so much easier.

2025-08-04 15:48:09 +0000 UTCIch habe bei meinem RT880 festgestellt das die Gruppen Namen nicht gespeichert bleiben. Zudem kann ich keine Channel hoch oder runter schalten. Das rote Dreieck geht bei jedem Tastendruck der "roten" Taste an. Im Ganzen ist das speichern, zuordnen von Channel Gruppen und Namen sehr unübersichtlich und nicht nachvollziehbar.
