Here's the email I just sent to Radtel. Hopefully they'll respond positively. If not we've got a bit of a journey figuring out the IO on this RT-880 and I'll likely need to ask for community support.

My name is Marcus Dudley, also known as nicsure. I develop custom firmware for HT radios under the name nicFW, which has gained popularity for several models, including the TIDRADIO TD-H3, Radtel RT-890, and RT-900. These firmwares are original builds from the ground up, not forks of Dual Tachyon or of any source code that has been made publicly available, including that for the RT-900.
One of the key features of nicFW is significantly improved scanning performance, up to 200 times faster than the stock firmware on supported devices. Access to technical information provided by TIDRADIO and your own releases for the RT-890 and RT-900 was very helpful in making these releases possible.
I’m now working on bringing nicFW to the Radtel RT-880. While reverse engineering is an option, it is a time-intensive process. Therefore, I would like to respectfully request any available information regarding the MCU GPIO assignments and the GPIOs associated with the BK4819 (if applicable). I am not requesting schematics, diagrams, or source code, only information that is already extractable through technical means.
