The firmware is still version .16 and need not be updated if you are already running .16

Anyone knows where is the manual for this firmware? Cant find things like how to add or delete memories? Also cant figure out how to change Banks

2025-06-01 03:56:42 +0000 UTCSometimes my RT-890 "loses" the calibration settings and radio setup settings after a channel programming write. All channels go to N/T, LCD RFI comp is lost, display resets to dual watch, and I get a weird amalgam of my custom boot screen image with the default one. Only takes a few minutes to re-write calibration, settings, and boot screen, but it's weird that pushing channel config triggers this behavior.

2025-05-09 10:55:52 +0000 UTCSounds like you have the wrong channel bank selected and are powering off the radio before it's had a chance to save any changes. Also likely you haven't initially configured the radio properly.

2025-05-01 05:14:28 +0000 UTCOK Marcus. I'm going to try and explain the error I'm seeing better. Here goes: 'Add Group' and 'Remove Group' sets up the channel's groups correctly. Power On or 'Load Channels' does not. Example: Load my Channels into 890. Go to Group mode and Group O or 'ALL' Press'1' to go to channel 1(GMRS1) it won't show. Go into channel mode and channel 1. You'll see group O is listed in it's groups. Go to Add Group and add it to Group O. It will now work correctly until powered off.
