2025-06-12 02:58:27 +0000 UTCI flashed my H3 yesterday with 2.52.13. The CRC shows OK and everything seems to be working. This morning I had my first QSO on a local repeater. After a few short exchanges, the H3 started blanking out and restarting. It seemed to get worse every time I transmitted. It doesn't do this working simplex in VFO mode. I can keep transmitting on an empty frequency with no problems. Just seems to have the crash/restart problem working duplex/repeaters. PS I'm still looking for documentation for ver. 2.52.13. I've been working with the 2.0 pdf from GitHub.

2025-06-01 15:49:47 +0000 UTCFixed. Just a note for legacy users, the csv files from the web channel editor may not be compatible when importing to the windows app. To fix, I started with a flesh flash, wrote the default channels, read them back, exported to csv, updated the csv, and finally imported/wrote.

2025-05-28 00:05:14 +0000 UTCThere is a windows binary and the file to flash in the zip. Run the software, find your com port, hit the "Flash" button in the bottom of the app, and you are flashing!

2025-05-27 22:30:33 +0000 UTCIs there a link to how you flash the td-H3 with the latest firmware? Every video I find that 4 Mos ago gave it says site is down. At minimum I would just like to get the latest H3 firmware. Thanks very much... Joe H

2025-05-27 15:46:47 +0000 UTCThis flashed wonderfully on one of my H3's, but I'm having an issue with tx power on my second radio. tx power is set to 150, but the watts display 0 on the radio and channel editor. The channel editor has an additional quirk... the "tx power" and "watts" regularly go to 2 and 0, respectively. Does this sound familiar? I love to find a fix and have this final rev installed on all my H3s. 73.

2025-05-27 01:18:06 +0000 UTCHello, new guy here. I just flashed with v2.52.13. Seems to work ok but the start up splash screen and other appearances (like the menu) are considerably different than what I saw on YouTube. The startup screen i was expecting was a red background/square type affair. Is that just obsolete now or did I miss something? Thx!

2025-05-20 15:32:01 +0000 UTCJust in case other people have the same problem I had importing CSV data from Chirp, it is necessary to remove any "location 0" (zero) entry you may end up with. I don't know if I introduced that accidentally myself as I was building the memory list in Chirp, or if Chirp defaulted to adding it when I created a new code plug (this does happen when you do "New" in Chirp). But in any case: use a text editor and delete that row, and you should be good.

2025-04-27 22:38:38 +0000 UTCOh, I think I've gotten it. I had to get the latest drivers for the CH340.

2025-04-22 21:13:37 +0000 UTCHas anyone successfully loaded the firmware on a Mac (M1+) or from a VM on a Mac? I've got a Windows 11 VM and TIDRADIO's updater doesn't detect the com port and I can't install the drivers. Without those, I don't see any com ports in the system. Now, the nicFWProgrammer executable seems to read the device without the drivers, but I don't know that this will flash the firmware. This is my first radio and I want to tinker a bit with it, but I also want to be able to revert back to the original firmware.
