Interregnum - How will Truss govern?

Richard Seymour on Britain's new prime minister, Liz Truss. We talked about how she might govern, her likely response to the cost of living crisis, and how she is far from the obsessive ideologue she's portrayed as in some quarters. We also talked about the devastating floods in Pakistan, and about the death and legacy of the late Soviet leader, Mikhail Gorbachev.

I know that he left the organisation, but he is explaining the views he held at the time (and posibly still holds? that's not clear to me from the interview). 34:06 "Yeah, I can tell you that the tradition I come from, which vaingloriously calls itself the international socialist tradition, basically looked at this as a great opportunity..." Sorry, just makes my stomach turn, whether it's Jeffrey Sachs or anyone else whose doing the salivating.

Trotskyist? He left, but without going right. You should take Pepto Bismol.

Thanks, mostly interesting but the Trotskyist take on the dissolution of the Soviet Union is really quite nauseating.
