Update 6.10.25

Looking to make a lot of progress this week. We’re still working on the demo, as we keep finding small things to improve—mainly optimization issues related to cloth physics, level interactions, and loading times.

To help with that, we’re going to preload the game during the intro cutscene and hope these small tweaks add up to a much smoother experience overall.

The core of the game is set now, so most of our focus is on optimization before we move on to building more levels. We want to avoid the headache of fixing the same issue across 50+ levels later. From experience, that can eat up a lot of time.

We also made a number of updates to the menu and caught a few big bugs during DreamCon—nothing too crazy, though.

At this point in development, it’s a bit late to add major mechanics, but one thing that stood out during testing was how players would just restart the level when they ran out of ammo. So we’re looking into adding a melee option to give players a backup way to fight—even if it's riskier—so they’re not completely stuck.
