VoxtaTouch v1.0
Added 2025-04-04 14:22:43 +0000 UTCVoxtaTouch is a new VAM plugin designed to work with Voxta AI by AcidBubbles (https://www.patreon.com/c/Voxta/). VoxtaTouch will feed event messages to Voxta to indicate when a character in VAM has been touched. The event message will specify where the VAM person is touched and which atom/person did the touching. This will prompt the AI character to respond verbally in Voxta, in accordance with the Voxta scenario. The force/speed of the touch will also affect the event message. Its primarily intended for use in VAM VR mode, but will work in desktop mode also.
To setup the plugin:
1. Load VoxtaTouch onto a Person atom in VAM that will be the touch recipient.
2. Ensure Voxta is running (outside of VAM) and is fully configured and working.
3. Load the Voxta plugin to any atom in the scene and configure it to connect to a chat session in Voxta.
4. Ensure that a Voxta character is selected in the Voxta plugin and the person which VoxtaTouch is loaded onto (i.e. in step 1) is set as the Audio Atom for that character.
I intend to release this plugin for free on VAMHub, but for now I'm just sharing with Patreons.

This does not use AI vision. It just detects collisions in VAM and reports them as events to Voxta.

2025-04-09 20:31:04 +0000 UTCIt works with any atom touching the person that the plugin is loaded onto. It will also work with VR Hands. I'm not sure what more info I can give? Maybe try it and let me know if you have any specific questions.
