1.20 has Session Plugin Presets right under Session Plugins - so after loading the session plugin, save a session plugin preset and then make it the default. Same effect as the loading from default scene mechanism before.

2020-09-04 01:11:14 +0000 UTCOK, I see that this is a problem with VAM 1.20, which has apparently destroyed Session Plugins. I doubt there is anything you can do about that at the moment.
