Mermey-Themed Sketches
Added 2021-05-06 21:36:37 +0000 UTCL: Alongside with young Roui, I was thinking about his Nourian friends, Mermey in particular. If we would make a short spin-off in visual novel (or short manga maybe?) format, telling about Roui’s past back in Nouri, Mermey would be the protagonist. She is an independent, cool and tough lady, a patron of many singlitarians and a decent ancestor of her true-parbian family. Behind this noble look she has a soul of adventurer, and if you get know her better, she will appear as a funny girl, who loves to break the rules... secretly.
As a friend of Roui, she was kinda his guide light and voice of conscience, so it would be interesting to watch the young storyteller through her eyes. Anyway, it’s just a concept of a little project, far way little than the Crown of Leaves.
These sketches are following Mermey’s design through years of developing. She had so much of Roui, Junyver and Antiquity in her appearance... But the first portrait is her final design (and also I like that list with two busts as well).
