Hi all!
The moment I finished the Bunny Rabbit design, I knew a Jackalope variant was in our future, haha. This mythical critter sports a set of antlers, an alternate smile, and longer muzzle to give it a bit more of that jack rabbit profile. I hope you enjoy it!
To those who may not know what a Jackalope is, this silly mythical beast has been a subject of legend and myth in North America for generations...

I do suggest leaning toward a little higher infill with this version to give those antlers a bit more strength, especially when using more brittle filaments like Silks or Mattes.

3D PRINTING SETTINGS
Print-In-Place. No additional supports needed. Several joints must be wiggled and "cracked" free in order to articulate them. Be Extra careful with brittle filaments, like silks
Pre-supported version included for extra print stability (recommended). Support is connected to the front legs that must be removed and discarded.
15-25% Infill.
3 Walls (when using a 0.4mm nozzle). <--This is very important!

The design scales down well, but keep in mind that the smaller you go, the more fragile the antlers will be, YMMV.

However, if we’re thinking about mythical beasts it makes me wonder if there’s a chupacabra in the works down the road! 😉
