Hi everyone!
Say hi to this cute little fella! Since we already have the carnivorous leaf nosed Bat, I thought it would be fun to make it's vegetarian cousin... the Fruit Bat (aka. Flying Fox)!
This Fruit Bat has an entirely new head sculpt and a similar yet revised body sculpt.
It also includes the same features as the original Bat: Rubber Band powered flappy wings, clawed feet for hanging upside down, stands when balanced on its feet and tail, and multiple holding head positions (Head positions pictured above on the original bat). The Fruit Bat uses size #12 rubber bands in its wings, like These Rubber Bands***
I also bought an Assorted bag from Staples, which did include size #12.
Size #12 is 1-3/4" when measured flattened. (Not Diameter)
3D PRINTING SETTINGS
Body: Print-In-Place. Built-in Brim.
Head: Snap-Fit to Body. Built-in Pre-Support. No additional support.
5-15% Infill.
3 Walls.

Hmmm. That definitely shouldn't happen. Can you email me some pictures (matmire.makes@gmail.com) so I can see what you're dealing with, or even better, post them in the #troubleshooting channel on Discord and we can try and solve it as a group.

2023-02-08 22:54:46 +0000 UTCNo worries. It’s a completely different head design. The body design is a little bit different but is mostly the same as the original. The chest is more puffed up and has a bit more of a fuzzy texture and the wings have a different silhouette on the last section.
