Tis the season for a jolly ol' Santa bearded Beardie! This was fun. We've got two versions of a Christmas themed Bearded Dragon, one with the beard and one without. I'm also including Bonus Ornaments and Magnets of each variant. I hope you enjoy, and Happy Holidays!

3D PRINTING SETTINGS
Head with Pre-Supports: (removable supports are built into the head model, no additional supports needed) (Recommended)
Body with custom Brim: (Print-in-Place, Brim geo is built in so no need to generate one.) (Recommended)
Head: Snap-Fit to Body. Requires Support "Touching Buildplate". (I like "Tree" supports)
Body: Print-In-Place. No Supports (Aside from a Brim)
Good bed adhesion is a must! I highly suggest using a BRIM or RAFT to make sure the tail stays upright as the segments build, or use the "customBrim" version of the body.
10-20% Infill.
3 Walls.

Scale to your liking! 100% creates a 10" model, so that will make it easy to scale it to your desired size. (80% = 8", 75% = 7.5", etc.) Depending on your printer tolerances, you should be able to print close to 60-65% before the joint function may start to become compromised. YMMV

2022-12-18 18:58:32 +0000 UTCThey are exactly the same as the v06R bodies of the regular Beardie. Do you have the most recent version? The only difference from v05R is the custom brims are now more easily removable.

2022-12-09 22:24:20 +0000 UTCHi! I use Vallejo paints. The mini paints generally are on the thinner side so I do usually have to do multiple coats, depending on the underlying color. However, the slightly thinner consistency makes it more controllable than more typical craft paints. I often use an airbrush for my base coats and then add in the details with a brush or dabbing paint on with a makeup sponge. Hope that helps. We do have a painting channel on the Discord server if you’re interested in having more of a group discussion about it!
