We finished our first #paintingchallenge ever! Our good friend and amazing miniature painter @caernstudio was the responsible for analysing all the works and choosing the winners. So, without further ado, here they are:
(@caernstudio also made himself available to give any feedback you guys need for your entries for this challenge! Just reach out to him on Instagram and he will be more than happy to help you out!)

>>> MINIATURE CATEGORY <<<
- 1st place: Maurilio Zucatelli (@zukaverso) with his great painting of our Mountain Ogre. Really well done material differentiation, with a great focus as well. Also, it has smooth transitions and a nice tonal variation. Excellent skin painting (and all miniature painters know how hard that is)!
- 2nd place: Charlie Collicutt (@miniature.collicutt) and this terrifying rendition of our Mountain Yeti. Besides the great focus, tonal variation, contrast and great color choice, this gore effect turned out awesome! Oh, and then there's that little easter egg in the base... π
- 3rd place: Jesse Revicki (@antebellumbrushwork) and this comic style Bunny Killer. Nice focus, color choice and harmony. A big shout out to this Borderland-esque effect captured here!

>>> BUST CATEGORY <<<
- 1st place: Paul Blachford (@scientificwonder) with this awesome version of our Bunny Killer. Besides the great color choice, harmony and good material differentiation, we loved that he painted the stitches with a different color!
- 2nd place: Patricia Nicander (@twinspaintingwarhammers) delivered a simple but very effective painting of our Highland Elf Hunter. The color variations is not so big in this one, but it works well here and highlights all the little details from the sculpture.
- 3rd place: Jasmine Nicander (@twinspaintingwarhammers). Both twins made the top 3! Jasmine brought her A game with this colorful and gory version of our Bunny Killer. We loved the contrast between the soft colors and all that blood!

We will contact all the winners individually to talk about the prizes in the next days. For now, thanks to everyone who participated, no matter the skill level! It's always great to see our characters being brought to life by our subscribers.
We created this challenge as a fun way to test our awesome new supports provided by Atlas Support Solutions, but we loved the interaction and excitement this brought to our community, so there will be definitely more to come. Stay tuned!
