The light & the dark & monthly update

Picture is me sketching for a new design logo. On hold, because I don't seem to hit the spot and there are more important matters at hand.

I've mentioned this about a month ago. We will split the Patreon page into two, to give each patron the option to support what he wants to support. 

Originally the idea was to have the dark side as a contrast measure for the light, something to overcome. But some people went nuts about the losing path of Karma. Review bombing, insults and some even followed to discord to troll. 

Turns out there is a reason many other dev's are scared of a small vocal group. Some even stopped projects or developing for good. I can understand that. Everyone wants to be successful, I/we for sure as well. Not lastly because success means I can make better games. And hardly anyone wants to be pursued for something like this.

After understanding the situation I had the same option as many, but chose another path. I might have always been to stubborn for my own good. Besides that the feedback I've received from the dark side crowd was good. While some asked me to ditch the light side, which I will never do, they were always polite and supporting. 

That is why I wanted to give them a chance to support their favorite part of the games we develop. At the same time it gives the same option to people that enjoy and like the light side.
With the goal definition I made very clear what the benefits of support either side is. You will shape the game with your contribution. You will decide what kind of game it will be by the end. 

To be clear I try to be inclusive of people and I want our patreon pages to be the same. Everyone is welcome. Just now you can more specifically support what you like. Dark or Light.

In regards to the monthly update. We did release the first Alpha version of Terror. There is much to come and much planned. Some things we still need to improve, but we are working like crazy people at the moment. So the next update will probably be in August or September and most likely contain the whole first Chapter.

I do hope one day we make enough money to go even further with our producing, but know this. Right now we are giving everything we have.
