STATUS REPORT

Hello Comrades! Sorry for my lack of news lately i was kinda busy with some side projects involving blender and because some stuff related to the inflexibility of Patreon to NOT showcase actual free models as FREE post and because patreon format require more contundent progress to do a whole post is kinda hard to post progress of something across several days

Ok! so all ya know this THE blender year! meaning all the future models will be ON BLENDER natively, now there are some stuff what i want to clarify in chase it wasnt clear before

-BLENDER rigs will be the primary products

-An Simple blender FK rig will be provided for modding will be delivered

-Most of models will be released along an VRC port or eventually will get the Model an VRC port

-SFM ports will be not be supported Officially, if someone want to donate a ported model please consider what such model will be not be redistributed until the model got released for free


with that out of the Way lets go for the things i did along the last month

GIMBAL RELEASED/ QoL consept practice


The Robot Bunny was the first victim of a series of updates for see the potential of upgradable proyects and understand the workflow of grab and model and add more assets on top of it to promote it asked what kind of cosmetics should add to it


So stupid idea.... i love it


after that another idea was dropped courtesy of Kaitou 3D

eventually leaded into another whole consept


with 11 days on production 2 new outfits and a new skin proven the consept of add extra stuff for an character its nots just plausible but profiteable... specially when a trending of a clothing or cosmetic will affect certain characters (like the goth Judy or Seasonal cosmetics for an character)

the most important thing learned its to use custom propieties for cosmetics


Also Rigify its flexible for updates like this so its something what is preferable at the moment

MIRAGE - HAVOC - RAFALE

As you can assume these are the Alias of my 3 main babes of my career and as i mentioned in some places they will be undergoing in a series of Revamps/Remasters/Remakes in an deep technical/visual and desing level for blender

This is important for me since despite most of these character having years with me the ammount of content i produced its anemic due the lack of proper rigging in Blender

its fair to start with the most recent and fresher character will recieve the least changes (Mirage) while the oldest and most popular (Alilkira) will undergoe into a total Remake including sculpt her whole body

but because i had to start with mirage lets see what will bring on the table with the new Blender version

SEVAN MIRAGE- The Revenant

As Cool i found the OG design of Sevan i found mayor flaws on the improvisation of her outfit

To Starters the lack definition and flow on the extremeties SPECIALLY the boots the lack of an fixed geometry across her desing caused she look a bit out of the touch, specially considering she looks more Cooler NAKED than dressed....

i mean who not but still can change since the cloth should transmit something else than just a "ok" desing
 
I asked some friends about it and they drop very cool ideas what reinforced the oveall "BAD" look what she should have specially the contributions of Wonderfox, Smoaer And Kespr

 To reinforce the changes some of the body proportions has to be VERY slighly touched

the result lead into a Bit more menacing and provocative look w/o going too FAR from the OG desing

The glam-rock aesthetic or 80s Rock its more telegraphed aswell robust in desing also the angle star and triangular shapes are more present and since im not longer concern to metals in the materials due the PBR of blender (fuck u SFM) i added some metalic bits on the uniform

also with some stuff learned from Gimbal where able to add some functions to the rig but im still struggling with standarize the workflow with the FACEIT so i went to RIGIFY bones on the face instead



also Eyes reemplazed with Tiny EYE for procedural working



on top of other cosmetic changes like the main meele weapon from a WOLVERINE like claws to an SWORD


In retrospective this will help alot to make the character stand out as desing and personality what will remain untouched

Holly remaster will start soon and while this one feels almost finish there is a chunk of tasks to be executed first... luckly many of the missing cosmetics from the original can be added over the time... for the technical part of the future models i will make another post becuase this one its killing the performance of my laptop
