Upcoming MRIXRT videos
Added 2025-07-21 16:04:32 +0000 UTCHowdy howdy. I'm very pleased to be able to reach out to you guys with some more information about the coming few months. Thank to your support, my content schedule is completed out to June of 2026.
For fans of my content, which.. uh, I guess definitionally you must be.. well, that might not actually sound very exciting, because you know I can go 9 months working on a video. However, let me reinvigorate you immediately by saying that this schedule includes no less than THIRTEEN (13) videos!
What.
I have recently become convinced that there is no chance to grow on YouTube in the future. That might sound doomer, but let me explain. The rapid advancement of AI content is creating a trap that's going to crush new creators. AI is getting so good that soon the platform will be flooded with content that's perfectly watchable but completely artificial. New creators won't be able to compete with the sheer volume and consistency of AI content. But... I don't think people actually want to watch AI content either.
So what happens? You get this dead zone where new creators can't break through the AI noise, but audiences don't want the AI stuff. The only thing that will matter is authentic content from creators people trust are real. Problem is, how do you prove you're authentic when AI keeps getting better? A lot of channels will try to convince people they're legitimate creators with something valuable to say, and they'll fail because nobody has any reason to believe them.
Why would you watch some random new creator when you can't even tell if they're human? Especially when their content quality isn't any better than what an AI can pump out with a generated script and generated video. And AI keeps getting more convincing every single year. It wasn't that long ago we had weird spongebob dall-e stuff and will smith eating spaghetti, and now it's nearly impossible to tell that a video isn't legitimate. I truly believe an AI generated video is going to send an innocent person to jail before too long.
I don't want to be in that part of the stratosphere, so I figure I've got this year to move out of it and into the 100k club to be a 'real creator' with a past and a history that people are willing to believe I'm a real boy.
But here's the thing: you guys already get it. You're supporting authentic content because you believe in what I'm doing, and that's exactly what's going to matter in this new landscape. Your patronage isn't just helping me make videos, it's helping prove that real creators with something genuine to say can still thrive.
That means I've decided to focus on creation as much as possible. I'm going to be producing a lot of video. At least 13, as mentioned before. These will have sponsors--meaning they will be produced on a schedule with a definite deadline. They will still be 30-60 minutes long, and they'll still be my traditional style of content, they'll just be a lot faster.
I'm doing this with the hopes that I will be able to focus on my passion videos in the future. I have 3 or 4 longform investigative pieces I've been working on. The kind of deep dives that are only possible because of your support. I want them to get a wider audience and not get drowned out or ignored. I'm still really disappointed that nobody picked up on the Kid's Relief, Limited Run, or Game Awards videos. Those investigations took months of work and serious resources, but they might not have happened at all without patrons willing to fund that kind of risky, time-intensive journalism. Is it because the videos are bad, the story isn't interesting... or because my reach is too short? If my reach were longer, would they have affected larger changes in the companies I am criticizing?
So these videos will be a bit "easier." They will cover things that require less than a month to research, interview, and produce. That doesn't mean they won't be interesting! Just that they won't be a years long investigative piece that requires lawsuit insurance.
Your continued support makes this whole strategy possible - both the faster content to grow the channel, and the inevitable return to those deep investigative pieces that really matter.
