New Brand Name

Hello, please don't be scared by the unfamiliar name. I am Moriarty from CryMor Gaming, and I have changed my name to MRIXRT. It's pronounced "Moriarty," and is simply a stylized version of that.

Why "CryMor?"

So it started with me and CryptoSpook, CRYptospook and MORiarty, doing CSGO content in a genre called Overwatch. This is where you would watch suspected cheaters and decide if they were or were not cheating. https://youtu.be/u7NQu2unCpw

This died with Overwatch, the game, coming out, but we enjoyed making content, so we decided to do "reviews" sort of like TotalBiscuit did: https://youtu.be/yql0i3l239k

We released videos every two days for about a year, then I was like "We could do daily if we had some help." We were at about 1000 subs and doing like 50,000 minutes a month at that time.

At this point, the schedule was me and Crypto Mon, Wed, Fri. Brax Tue, Bolt Thur, Virus Sat, Alyscus Sun. 

We did that for a while, but after about six months it was clear that adding new people to the channel had hurt it way more than helped. The day I uploaded a Virus video https://youtu.be/FPrmpn9HdTU and it had 8 views after 24 hours was the day I let everyone know that I was stopping the multi-user stuff, and it would just be me & Crypto again.

Brax stuck around and would continue to sub in when one of us was super unavailable. We continued to do 3 videos a week. Then I did this video on Jump: https://youtu.be/HY3ZEH9ZGRY and it seemed people were at least willing to listen to me talk about stuff that I thought about things other than games I was playing. Around this time Crypto said he didn't want to do videos anymore, but Brax stuck around. We tried some different formats like the Roundup https://youtu.be/ZcQuEY5TtQY and tried breaking things up so that me and Brax could do a roundup on Mondays, then Brax could do a video on Wednesday, and I'd do one on Friday.

After a few more months of the 3 videos, I made a change and decided we were only going to do video essays https://youtu.be/nzoPfIvnffk

We started doing one every other week. I'd do one, then Brax would do one. After about a year of that, Brax also stopped making videos. His last video was in June https://youtu.be/fWyoSMLUG5w and after that I just sort of continued my own schedule. That was a few months ago.

So now I really want to change my brand because so far it's always been the brand I'm part of, certainly a brand I felt ownership for, but never MY brand as in the brand that is ME. This new one will be.
