It makes a lot of sense Max is such a big fan of Fountains of Wayne. As I was listening to the newer eve6 music I felt like there was an influence there but I couldn't put my finger on it until hearing him say it here. I really respect a songwriter who can recognize the strength of Adam's writing capabilities. Adam was an incredible songwriter with an ear for the best hooks. His soundtrack work is at a level close to Trent Reznor to me (That Thing You Do fuckin RIPS). We lost a real genius when Adam passed. Max really said it the best when he described them as a brilliant band. Consider me a second on Max's suggestion to listen to their catalog. Hey Julie is one of the most beautiful songs and it's a blast to sing. Hope you guys enjoy! Hope eve6 guy can come back again!
