2024-03-21 03:57:54 +0000 UTCSo I rented and played this game one time as a yoot, absolutely could not remember the name of it as an adult, but every once in awhile would remember and think about the escaping from the cell puzzle. I would spend hours and hours trying to find the PS1 game that I had this memory of, including going through wikipedia entries on point and click adventure games trying to figure it out. Until one day like a year or so ago that my stupid ass was looking through every N64 title ever released and realized that what I was convinced was a PS1 game was...woopsie an N64 game. That's my Shadowgate 64 story, a game that was so good looking and PS1 like that my brain refused to even consider that it could be an N64 title for a good like 20 years.
