Pokemon: Way OF Life Chapter 36
Added 2023-01-10 05:03:22 +0000 UTCHi all,
Here's the next chapter and Lucas' first interaction with Misty.
Lucas met Faith and Jason in the reception area after battling through the crowds of people leaving the stadium to grab lunch. The fourth round of the tournament had ended, and now they had an hour's break before they resumed the tournament. Several stalls had been set up outside the stadium to take advantage of the crowds, and people were flocking to them in droves.
Faith leapt into Lucas' arms, and he twirled her in the air a few times before hugging her close to his side. Jason slapped him on his back, and they made their way outside.
"The moment when Squirtle launched into the air was so freaking cool," Jason exclaimed. "I think the stream broke because of the number of comments I received."
Lucas hummed. "Ah, well. Perhaps I can appear on Tweak after the tournament ends?"
"I already promised them that you would say something afterwards," Jason grinned before he looked down at his phone. "By the way, your wager is at five to one odds."
"Let me guess?" Lucas said. "Misty is the hot favourite to win the tournament."
"Yep," Jason smirked. "You placed second in most of the wagers. The Waterflower family is known to be formidable when it comes to water-type Pokemon. It's no wonder that their oldest sister is the gym leader in Cerulean City."
"Did you make a wager for yourself?" Lucas asked.
"I put half my savings in," Jason confirmed. "So, you better not be wrong."
"I bet ten thousand Pokedollars myself," Faith added.
"Woah, what if I'm wrong?" Lucas asked, placing his head in his hands. "That's too much pressure."
"It's okay," Jason smirked. "You can pay me back if you are wrong."
"Ditto," Faith giggled.
"Wait, how is that fair?" Lucas protested.
There was a flurry of activity on Ferry Street, which was crowded with people. A number of restaurants, galleries, and museums are themed around the sea. The street was very popular with tourists because of its proximity to the harbour, where many people arrived from other towns and cities.
"Speaking of Misty, isn't that her over there?" Faith pointed ahead of them.
In the street in front of them, Misty was shouting at a young man who had a nervous-looking expression and was backing slowly away from the angry female. People on the street stopped to watch the scene but did not intervene in any way.
"What is happening?" Faith asked, looking like she was ready to get involved.
"Come on, let's see what's going on," Lucas said, and the trio approached the pair.
"Give me back my wallet, you thief," Misty shouted.
"Listen, lady; I don't know what you are talking about," that man said, simultaneously looking guilty and scared of the girl.
"I felt you touching my back pocket; you perve," Misty looked seconds away from decking the guy.
Faith's eyes narrowed. After hearing that someone had touched the girl, she looked as if she would join her fellow female in expressing her outrage.
"Why don't you empty your pockets?" Lucas suggested, trying to calm the volatile situation down. "I'm sure we can sort this mess out without resorting to violence."
"I don't need to do anything," the man yelled and began to run away. Lucas sprinted forward and caught the man easily, tackling him to the ground.
Misty ran over and was about to search for her wallet when a voice rang out. "What is going on here?"
Officer Jenny came striding down the street with a Growlithe following her. The woman was dressed in uniform and looked stern as she took in the situation.
"That man assaulted me," the man on the ground shouted. "Arrest him, Officer Jenny."
"Silence, Byron. You don't exactly have the most stellar reputation," Jenny scolded the man before turning to Misty. "What is going on here?"
Misty reported her claims that the man had assaulted her and stolen her wallet. Lucas added that he tripped the man up when he refused to empty his pockets.
"Well, Byron?" Jenny asked. "If you don't speak up now, I guarantee you that the time you spend in jail will be much longer. You are being accused of touching this girl inappropriately, not to mention the theft charges."
Byron remained silent for a few moments before reaching into his coat, taking out a red wallet, and handing it over to Officer Jenny. She opened the wallet and found a picture of Misty in the plastic compartment.
"Byron, you idiot," Officer Jenny shook her head in disgust before handing the wallet over to Misty.
Officer Jenny handcuffed that man and pulled him to his feet. Before she left, she turned to Lucas. "The event is happening tonight to take advantage of all the commotion over the tournament. You should have your friend back tomorrow." She was careful not to mention that it was a raid.
"Thanks, Officer Jenny," Lucas nodded. He watched her leave before turning to Misty. The girl was certainly beautiful, comparable to Faith, even with a scowl on her face. Her orange-red hair, worn in a single ponytail to one side, was the most distinctive feature of her style. The outfit she wore was the same as the one she wore in the anime. It was a pair of jean shorts with red suspenders attached to them, which accentuated her long and slender legs. The one difference was that her yellow t-shirt was more conservative and didn't leave her belly button exposed.
"Hello," Misty said. "It's Lucas, right? Thanks for helping out."
"No problem," Lucas waved his hand dismissively. "If I didn't, Faith would have stepped in. She looked like she was about to deck the guy."
In response to Lucas' remark, Misty reached out and shook Faith's hand. "I'm glad I had another female looking out for me. Us girls have to stick together, right?"
Faith smiled. "That's tight. That man deserved a beating. It would have been a pleasure to get a few licks in before he was taken away."
Misty nodded her head rapidly. "I wanted to punch him so hard that he coughed up blood."
Jason whispered in Lucas's ear. "Wow, I think Faith has met her twin. It's absolutely terrifying."
Lucas grinned as he glanced at the time. "I'm sorry to cut this short, but we need to get to the restaurant."
"What restaurant is that?" Misty asked.
"Ocean Blue on Ferry Street," Lucas replied.
"Can I join you? I know the owners."
"Sure," Lucas shrugged.
"Okay, let's go," Misty grabbed Faith's arm, and the girls walked off, chatting as if they were old friends.
Twenty minutes later, the three watched as Misty devoured a series of seafood dishes with gusto. The girl took advantage of the fact that Lucas had already paid the bill, as the meal had been prepared in advance and was ready when they arrived.
"When did you last eat?" Lucas asked amusedly, his own food forgotten as he watched her devour the food.
"It's not about being hungry," Misty waved a fork around. "I haven't eaten in a quality restaurant in a long time."
Jason stared at her with a confused expression. "But you're part of the Waterflower family. Your wealth may not be on the same level as the Walker's, but it's still a considerable fortune."
Misty looked down at the table with a frown. "I have separated from my family for personal reasons. It's not something I want to talk about."
"Are you travelling by yourself?" Faith asked.
"It's fine," Misty said. "My decision to leave the family was the subject of a lot of controversy, and I attracted a lot of ire from my sister's fans. I am the younger, less popular sister, and some of my fans have left me to follow them. I've had offers to join some teams, but I didn't trust their motives. Whether it's to take advantage of my fame or some boys interested in getting me into bed."
"Wow," Jason shivered. "Fame has its downsides. I wonder if Lucas will ever do something to piss his fans off so they turn against him?"
Lucas shrugged without concern. "Why worry about something that may never happen?"
Misty looked at Lucas with envy. The possibility did not seem to worry the teenager at all. What would his attitude be if he ever had to face the reality that he is hated by other people? Would he be able to cope with it?
"So my match with Nathan Stokes is next," Misty said, changing the subject. "Who do you think will win?"
"Well, I bet money on you winning," Lucas laughed. "So you better win."
"Nathan is a formidable opponent." Misty placed her hands on the table and leaned forward. "What makes you think I will win?"
"Just a feeling," Lucas looked at his phone. "I think we should make our way back to the stadium. There are only ten minutes left."
{0(((..)))0}
At this point in time, the fifth round was nearing its end, and only Lucas' match remained to be played out. Misty and Nathan's fight had been intense, as the latter had loaded his Pokemon with some powerful TMs. However, it did not make up for the fact that Misty's Pokemon were better trained and led by her. In the end, it was the girl who triumphed. Lucas examined her Pokemon, of which she had already used three, Staryu, Psyduck and a Seel, in the matches she had participated in so far. Lucas suspected that she had a fourth Pokemon, but it was only a hunch.
The following match was won by Ben with ease, and he would face Misty in the next round. Dudley Dursely, who was a skinny, nervous-looking boy, had made it through to the next round, where he would face Lucas.
Lucas faced his opponent on the stage. He didn't know much about Ned Dawson, except that he had been lucky enough to get two byes to make it here, so he wasn't expecting the toughest challenge.
The referee flipped a coin, and Lucas won the toss. Ned released his first Pokemon onto the stage, a Pidgey.
Pidgey ~ Level 7 ~ HP: 130 ~ Aura: 165
Lucas took a moment to peruse the Pokemon's parameters before releasing Max onto the stage. He had the advantage in this fight, but the bird had some nice Attack and Speed stats, so it paid to be cautious.
As soon as the referee dropped his flag, the match began.
'Use Quick Attack and move around the stage.' Lucas ordered
Max began moving just as Pidgey initiated her first move, Sand Attack. Suddenly, a huge sphere of sand and stone appeared above her head, exploding and spreading in a fan shape onto the stage.
'Feint.'
Since Pidgey was still in the same position, it was safe to use the attack. Max disappeared and reappeared at the side of Pidgey. She was in the process of activating Quick Attack and managed to dodge most of the attack but was clipped on the tail.
35 damage dealt to Pidgey.
HP: 95/130
Pidgey spiralled down through the air. Elekid began falling to the ground.
'Thundershock.'
Max used Thundershock, although accuracy took a dive as both Pokemon were at different heights in the air. He tried to adjust his aim to hit the falling Pidgey, but she pulled up at the last second and dodged the attack.
Pidgey performed her next move—Air Cutter, just as Max landed back on the stage. A massive cross was formed out of flying-type energy before it dipped swiftly towards Max.
'Protect.' Lucas ordered quickly.
Max raised the shield just in time as the attack crashed violently into it, dissipating the attack.
Pidgey followed up with a Quick Attack as she plunged downwards. Flying Pokemon could get a speed boost while diving through the air, so she reached Max within a few moments.
'Sidestep into Rock Smash.'
As the Pokemon swooped in, looking to hit him head-on, Max stepped to the side, avoiding the attack while charging fighting-type energy in his fist. After Pidgey missed, she landed briefly before launching herself upwards again. Unfortunately for her, Max's fist slammed down on her body, causing her to cry out and tumble to the ground.
37 damage dealt to Pidgey.
HP: 63/130
There has been no decrease in defence due to Big Peck's special ability.
'Thundershock'
Pidgey struggled to her feet just as the three arcs of lightning converged on her body.
65 damage dealt to Pidgey. It's super effective!
Pidgey has fainted.
Lucas clenched his fist in delight while the audience clapped in approval.
"Pidgey is unable to continue. Elekid is the winner of the battle. Trainer on the Red Platform, choose your next Pokemon."
Ned sent out his next Pokemon, which was not something Lucas had seen him use in the tournament so far. However, he hadn't paid much attention to him, to be fair.

Flash Fire - When a Pokémon with Flash Fire is hit by a Fire-type move, it does not deal damage but instead raises the power of the bearer's Fire-type moves by 50%. Subsequent hits do not raise the power even more, but the effect remains while the ability-bearer is in battle.
=====
Ponyta was fast, and the only advantage Max had was that she couldn't turn very fast due to her body shape. It had a few problematic moves as well, with Flame Charge being the main issue. Not only was it a powerful attack, but it could also increase her speed. However, at the early levels, Ponyta had one glaring weakness.
Max returned to his starting position, and the match resumed.
With a cloak of flames surrounding her, Ponyta exploded forward. Flame Charge.
Ponyta's speed has increased by one stage.
At the same time, Lucas ordered Elekid to execute Thunder Wave. Ponyta managed to react quickly and leapt high into the air, above the attack, before aiming downwards like a meteor falling from the sky.
'Quick Attack, forward.'
As Max charged forward, Ponyta landed on the stage with a fiery impact, resulting in flames erupting in all directions.
'Feint.' Lucas ordered.
Max disappeared at the same moment that Ponyta had turned around and reappeared at her side, ramming into her. Ponyta was knocked off balance, and her front legs folded as she tried to remain on her feet.
32 damage dealt to Ponyta.
HP: 98/130
'Thunderwave.'
As Max was about to unleash the move, Ponyta kicked back with her back legs twice in rapid succession, nailing Max perfectly. Ponyta had executed Double Kick.
41 damage dealt to Max.
43 damage dealt to Max
HP: 42/126
Ponyta has been paralysed.
As Max was sent flying with a cry, Ponyta stiffened, fell on her side, and landed with a thump on the stage.
'Buddy, are you okay? You need to get up and finish the fight.'
Max struggled to his feet slowly, obviously having suffered serious damage from the attack. One of the Ponyta's hoofs had connected with his head, disorientating him. Max squinted, not being able to focus on his opponent properly.
'The baddie is in front of you! Destroy her!'
Max's eyes cleared, and he rushed forward just as the paralysis on Ponyta ended, and she began struggling to her feet.
'Rock Smash onto the leg.' Lucas ordered ruthlessly.
Max swung his fist down onto one of Ponyta's front legs.
Critical Hit! It's super effective! 115 damage dealt to Ponyta
Ponyta has fainted.
Ponyta whinnied out in pain as her leg snapped, and she collapsed to the ground in a dead faint. Lucas winced when he heard the sound. Max had been a bit too ruthless and aimed for the knee joint.
"Ponyta is unable to battle. The winner of the match is Lucas Walker from Pallet Town. Walk forward and shake hands, commiserating on a great fight."
Lucas patted Max on his head. 'You were amazing, buddy. Now, back to the tender mercies of Chansey." Lucas sent him off and walked forward to shake hands with Ned. "Sorry about Ponyta's leg. Max was a touch too ruthless with his attack. "
"Don't worry about it," Ned said. "It's a Pokemon battle. Injuries are bound to happen. By the time she wakes up, her leg will already be healed."
The crowd gave Lucas a big round of applause as he walked off the stage. As of now, he had made it to the tournament's semi-finals. He sat down next to Ben, and Misty came over to join them.
Mayor Stokes returned to the stage. "Ladies and gentlemen. We now have our final four. Please give it up for Misty Waterflower, Ben Slater, Lucas Walker and Dudley Dursley."
The stadium erupted with applause. The mayor waited until the hubbub had died down. "There will be a ten-minute break before we begin the semifinals. So, stay tuned."
"You were lucky with that last fight," Ben said bluntly, ignoring the mayor who was speaking.
"Lucky? Is my Pokemon's special ability considered luck? In any case, I got the result I wanted. Who cares about the method if you win?" Lucas said.
"Your Elekid is tough," Misty smiled. "If I beat Mr Stoic here, he will give me some trouble in the final."
"Well, good luck to both of you," Lucas said. "I must face the dastardly Dudley and get some revenge for Harry."
"What are you talking about?" Misty glanced at the nervous teenager sitting nearby. "He doesn't look like a bad guy. Has he offended you somehow?"
"Don't mind." Lucas looked away nervously. "I like to...make up backstories about my opponents to get into the right state of mind. It helps if I portray them as villains."
"Oh? And what kind of villain would I make?" Misty stared at him with a look that said you better be careful.
"I don't know. You are a water-type specialist. Maybe Team Aqua?"
"That makes a lot of sense," Ben said seriously.
"You bastards," Misty snorted, turning away from them.
Lucas checked his phone to see how much progress he had made in the last two matches. He was in for a pleasant surprise.

=====
Dante and Max both levelled up just at the right time. Now he had to decide where to spend their AP. At this point, it wasn't going to have a big effect on the next two rounds. However, their HP could use some bolstering, so he decided to spend the AP on that.
The most exciting thing was that Dante had entered a pre-evolution state. If he had to guess, he would say that it was the precursor to evolving. He opened up Dante's status and found a new section had been added.
=====
[Pre-Evolution Stage] (Duration: One month) [Potential Unlocked: 0%] ( Energy Capacity: 0/10000)
Effective Items: Psychic Stone (energy); Twisted Spoon (increases Special Attack during evolution when held).
=====
Lucas tapped the screen, which produced another prompt that provided further details about the topic.
=====
Pre-Evolution Stage/Energy capacity.
Pre-evolution is the process of preparing Pokemon for evolution. It takes a lot of energy to transform into their evolved forms. For this reason, Pokemon must gather energy and/or be provided with items that provide energy to nourish them. The more stored energy a Pokemon has, the more likely it is that it will evolve and the more impact it will have on its evolved form.
Potential
By training, they can also unlock their potential for the next stage if applicable. The higher the potential unlocked, the better their stats will be after evolving and entering the second stage.
Evolution/Enhancement Items
Some items affect the type of evolution the Pokemon can evolve into when held. Also, some hold items enhance a specific stat but disappear after use.
======
Lucas hummed. This was very informative. The fact that there were psychic stones surprised him initially, but after he thought about it for a while, he realized that it made sense. It was nothing but stored energy, after all. There was no reason why every energy type shouldn't have an evolution stone to match. He needed to find a psychic stone as soon as possible to ensure that Dante maxed out his energy capacity. The twisted spoon as well. Additionally, for the next month, he would have to train Dante diligently to bring out all his potential. All of his Pokemon would have flawless evolutions if he had anything to say about it.
A few minutes later, the semi-finals started.
First, it was Ben and Misty. This match would determine who would advance to the finals. He hoped that his hunch was correct and that Misty would win the match so that he would have another chance at earning another big paycheck. As for who he wanted to fight personally, he considered both of them to be formidable opponents in their own right.
Lucas stepped up the barrier just as the coin was being tossed. Ben lost, so the advantage belonged to Misty. Ben sent out his first Pokemon, Doduo. In terms of speed, the Normal-Flying Type was incredibly fast on the ground, but it had trouble flying.
Misty released her Pokemon onto the stage, but it wasn't the one that she had shown before, but the fourth hidden Pokemon that Lucas suspected she had. It was a Kabutops.
Lucas examined the Pokemon.
=====
Pokemon: Kabutops | Age: 1 | Gender: M | Type: Rock, Water | Potential: S |
Stage Three: Kabuto has entered its third growth period.
Description: Its sleek shape is perfect for swimming. It slashes prey with its claws and drains the body fluids.
Stats
Level: 9 | Next: 7% | HP: 200 | Aura: 220 |
Attack: 111 | Defence: 110 | Special Att: 67 | Special Def: 90 | Speed: 85 |
Traits: Evasive Movement - increases the user's ability to evade attacks slightly.
Special Ability
Swift Swim - Swift Swim doubles the ability-bearer's Speed during rain.
=====
Bloody hell. The hidden ace is revealed. Kabuto was an absolute monster, an evolved Pokemon and already in the third stage. Also, its Swift Swim ability would make it untouchable in the rain.
Lucas watched the fight tensely. First, Kabutops was able to eliminate Doduo, and then Ben brought out a Parasect, which could counter her Pokemon. Kabutops was eventually defeated, and Misty brought out Seel to finish the fight. As much as Ben fought bravely, in the end, it was too much for him, and he lost the match. It was a very entertaining fight, and the audience agreed as they cheered loudly in the stands.
Ben came down the steps and stopped as he reached Lucas. You were right. She was hiding something."
Lucas patted him on the shoulder in sympathy. "I suspected, but I never imagined it would be Kabutops and that it was so strong. If I had been surprised like that, I would have lost that match as well."
"Well, hopefully, you can devise a strategy to defeat her."
Lucas returned his attention to the stage. Two more matches to become champion. He clenched his fists in anticipation and stepped up to the stage when his name was called.
Lucas lost the toss, so he had to release his Pokemon first. Thankfully, he had already seen Dudley's three Pokemon, but there was a slight chance he was hiding a fourth Pokemon like Misty.
Lucas sent out Imara.
'He looks like he is going to piss himself.' Imara smirked, baring her fangs.
"You aren't doing him any favours by glaring at him," Lucas said dryly.
'Why is he taking so long?' Imara complained.
Dudley eventually released his Pokemon onto the stage. It was Meowth.
Lucas examined the Pokemon. While most of the Pokemon's moves were of the normal and dark types. It also had one water-type move that could prove troublesome. His special ability was Technician, which was an incredible advantage in battle. It boosted any moves with power below sixty by twenty per cent. He got an automatic boost to his offence as a result.
Meowth ~ Level 8 ~ HP: 120 Aura: 180
The Pokemon got into position, and the match started. Meowth started with Fake Out, which Lucas anticipated, and had Imara moving straight away. It was pretty much identical to Astonish in that the move only worked when the target hadn't moved yet, with a guaranteed chance of causing the Pokemon to flinch. A hand made of normal-type energy appeared in front of Imara just as she was beginning to act, and it swung and tried to hit her.
Imara managed to avoid the attack and began moving closer to Meowth.
'Keep moving. Don't stop.'
Lucas knew Meowth had Feint, so he didn't want to give him the chance to use it. Meowth began running in a circle around Imara as she tried to approach. He had the advantage of speed, so he managed to get around her, and soon Imara would be targeted in her blind spot.
'Smokescreen.'
Imara blew a plume of smoke onto the stage, obscuring her from Meowth's sight. She shifted her position slightly to avoid being ambushed from her last known position.
'Stop and hit the ground immediately. Meowth will use Feint.'
Imara followed his order, and almost immediately, Meowth appeared out of nowhere, aiming to shoulder charge her. Meowth missed and tumbled forward onto Imara, who was lying on her back.
'Bite.'
She grabbed Meowth and bit down on his shoulder, causing him to cry in pain.
44 damage dealt to Meowth.
HP: 76/120
Meowth had a way to escape. He executed Flail, which was a move that could be executed with any part of the body. His head rammed into hers, and she was forced to let go because she was in so much pain from the attack.
31 damage dealt to Imara.
HP: 174/205
As this was playing out, the only person in the stadium who could see the fight clearly enough was Lucas. He imagined that Dudley was forced to let Meowth act on his own.
Imara stood up just as Meowth came rushing in with another attack. His claws gleamed sharply as he brought them down to scratch Imara's face. She leaned back just enough to avoid the claws and grabbed the Pokemon's arm. Using Meowth's momentum, she threw him over her shoulder and slammed him to the ground, taking a few HP off.
'Ember.'
Imara unleashed a stream of fire directly into Meowth's face, causing the feline to howl in anguish.
36 damage dealt to Meowth.
HP: 36/120
Meowth retaliated. A sphere of condensed water materialised in front of Meowth and shot directly into Imara's face. Water Pulse.
It's super effective! 61 damage dealt to Imara.
HP: 113/205
Imara was launched backwards and out of the cloud of smoke. The crowd gasped as she appeared. Soon after, Meowth launched himself after Imaras as she climbed to her feet.
Meowth reared its paw back in preparation to do another Scratch. Imara's eyes shone with fiery passion as she did the same, cocking her arm back, for once not acting on Lucas's orders. She appeared to be angry.
Meowth attacked Imara first, aiming to claw her head, but she tilted her head to the side at the last minute. A few moments later, she brought her arm forward and struck Meowth in the face.
39 damage dealt to Meowth.
Meowth has fainted.
With her paws, Imara pounded on her chest as she roared in elation.
'Imara, settle down.' Lucas commanded her.
Imara huffed before returning to her position to wait for her next opponent.
“Meowth is unable to continue. Victory is awarded to Charmander. Red Trainer, summon your next Pokemon.”
Dudley sent out his next Pokemon. It was an Ekans.
Ekans ~ Level 8 ~ HP: 125 Aura: 190
‘Have you calmed down now?’ Lucas asked.
‘I’m fine.' Imara replied.
‘Ekans will try and paralyse you with a Glare, then bind you with Wrap. So try and avoid getting caught in her line of sight.’
The referee brought his flag down, and the match resumed. Ekan's eyes glowed yellow as she activated Glare. Imara immediately looked away.
‘Sunny Day.'
Imara executed the move, and the sphere of intense fire rose above the stage. Ekans slithered forward, attempting to close the distance.
‘Ember.’
Charmander took a deep breath before spewing a stream of fire out of her mouth. Ekans raised a shield in her defence, and fire ricocheted off the shield in two different directions.
'You're faster than Ekans. Circle and aim for her blind spot.’
Imara ran around her opponent, looking to strike from the back. Ekans, however, due to her shape, could easily twist her body in any direction. Opening her mouth, Ekans released a dozen sharp needles of poison.
Imara dodged the poison needles, closing in on Ekans.
‘Be careful of Glare.’
It was a timely reminder as Ekans executed the move once more. However, Imara closed her eyes and jumped forward.
‘Dragon Tail.’ Lucas commanded quickly.
Imara swung around and struck Ekan's body with her glowing tail, with her eyes still closed.
Ekans flew back from the impact.
39 damage dealt to Ekans.
HP: 86/125
‘Ember.’
Imara opened her eyes and breathed out another burst of flames from her mouth. Ekans was getting up when flames engulfed her.
65 damage dealt to Ekans.
HP: 21/125
Ekans has been inflicted with Burn.
6 damage dealt to Ekans due to burn.
Lucas ordered Imara to retreat, and he watched as the last of Ekan's health dwindled away. She wasn’t able to do anything else and fainted soon after.
The audience rose from their seats and applauded as the referee declared the match. Lucas raised his fist in the air and looked down at Misty, who was watching from the seats. One final obstacle in his way.
So, what do you think? The next chapter will be the conclusion of the tournament. I initially thought of doing a more comprehensive fight between Ben and Misty but decided that it would drag the tournament on too much.
Thanks for reading.
I have posted the Pokémon's parameters below.
