- New code added allows activation of features being tested by beta testers.
- Changes
- The ESC key now opens the menu on the World Map and the Strategy Grid (not during dialogue)!
- The Panic! Key on the left was changed from ESC to ~ (tilde). The Panic! key on the right remains NUM[-].
- Added some code to prepare for beta testing a mobile phone companion app which will allow players to connect Kronos Time Titan with their mobile.
- Some dialogue changes to add jokes, correct typos, grammar.
- Bugs fixed
- When the game was hidden to the taskbar, pop-up messages could still appear. They will no longer appear while the game is hidden.
- Fixed incorrect message indicating an internet connection issue when game wasn’t activated.
- Fixed exploit which allowed players to use an Action Point, jump to the menu, then re-enter the Strategy Grid with a replenished Action Point.
- Known Issues
- After player ends turn, sometimes the red highlight box around an NPC will not appear. This does not affect gameplay, but can be confusing. Working on fixing.
- When Zoe is following you, she does not appear on the Thief battle map. This does not affect gameplay but will be fixed soon.
- “Press Spacebar to End Turn” message is ugly, I know. It will be refined in the future.
- Battles with the rogue and Heracles still use the old text system. Will be updated soon.
Comments
The update runs with elevated permissions because it overwrites any game files which have been updated. You should get a Windows prompt asking you if you want to proceed when you click update. Double-check your UAC settings and try updating again.
