Some UI Changes Being Made Before the Next Major Release
Added 2019-08-20 20:40:48 +0000 UTCAll of the new features are ready, with just some final dialogue adjustments and additions being made!
However, upon play-testing, it has become evident that some changes to the UI need to be made in order to keep players in the moment and reduce the number of times they need to make adjustments to the scene camera.
While it is awesome being able to zoom into an area of the scene for more detail, it can be problematic for storytelling. This feature is not being removed, but some much-needed adjustments to the feature, along with changing the UI dialogue area, should provide a much better playing experience.
I will post soon with an update on the ETA. Once this is finished, we'll be rolling out version 0.81 with all of the new scenes and features!
NOTE: Below is an example of how the current UI gets in the way of the action. While players can, of course, hide the dialogue menu anytime, a player shouldn't have to do that unless he or she is using the zoom function.
