I just spent 2 hours on the phone with microsoft and they cant get it done either. Can anyone help me. I hate wasting money and time and my child has been looking forward to this for some time. I finally got forge downloaded correctly but cant get the mod installed. Frustrated mom over here

I download the jar file posted here, and try to open it from Windows explorer and all it says is "do you want to save the file" and if I click yes, it does absolutely nothing. My kids are going mad with waiting!
