Service Release
Added 2024-10-04 14:33:28 +0000 UTCService release this week, with special attention to NGPC as more games work now:
Revisited shouse: flip not working which did not work well on Analogue Pocket.
Fixes on the NeoGeo Pocket color core have rendered many more games playable. This was tracked on the following GitHub issues: ngpc: fatal fury F-Contact (M2) waits for interrupt, ngpc fatal fury contact: a lot of the intro scenes are not visible, ngpc fatal fury f-contact: bad palette visible and ngpc: memories off pure colors off
The Simpsons (jtsimson): Incorrect scaling and background colors in intro Fixed a missing word on the title
Fixed bug causing the music to stop when using coin slot 2 on Avengers
s18/mwalk misalignment of scroll layers corrected. This was noticeable in the intro of Michael Jackson's Moonwalker
Added description for buttons of WWF SuperStars: wwfss
The JTXMEN beta (compatible with Konami's X-Men) is planned for next Friday (11th Oct). Stay tuned!
Comments
Great work, but I ran into an issue where the ngpc core is not reacting to controller editing nor input on the analogue pocket. I am able to exit to the analogue pocket’s main menu but that is probably due to the analogue pocket’s “home” button being system controlled and not at the mercy of the core. I’m also not able to access the controller settings.

2025-01-20 13:58:49 +0000 UTCFor anyone having trouble with Pocket Sync failing to pull roms for X-Men with Internet Archive still down, in settings for the ROM & BIOS archive use https:// updater.retrodriven.com as an alternate source

2024-10-11 22:52:56 +0000 UTCI'm getting a new SD card and am thinking of keeping any with a different name anyway just to try to see the comparison.

2024-10-11 05:47:49 +0000 UTCI see my problem now. I was using the NGP rbf that update_all puts in the _console folder. The one in the _arcade/_alternatives folder works great. Thank you for the support

2024-10-09 15:59:10 +0000 UTCThe latest files are always in the zip files attached to the latest Patreon post. Although I do not maintain update_all, I know that a common problem we have seen is that for some core name changes, it may not delete the old versions correctly. Manually deleting the _Arcade folder and letting update_all re-populate it again, usually fixes the problem. I will double check at my end too.

2024-10-08 16:12:09 +0000 UTCI believe I'm still not getting the correct Neo Geo Pocket core through update_all. No matter what I do, color games will launch but will be in black and white. The BIOS asks about which colors to use for black and white games so I believe I'm using the correct BIOS. The NGPC core I get from update_all has no date in the file name. Is there any way you could post the proper NGPC core for download in next Friday's post or possibly check what's being sent through update_all?
