It's already March

Hello Serializd family!

Dropping by to give you updates about the app.

Last month I released an "Upcoming Premieres" section! I've gotten positive feedback on this and I'm glad that people are finding this useful 😊

For the last couple of weeks I've been working on a number of small updates to the app,

1. Adding a "Liked Reviews" section to profiles
This one is funny, because it's been on my to-do list for years. It's one of those things that is easy to do, but is never a priority. In recent months, members on the Discord have brought this up occasionally, so I decided to tackle this and finally get it out.

It's not a huge feature, but still a quality-of-life update that should have always been there.

2. Displaying the watched percentage on Shows and Seasons
Currently on the mobile app, you can get an indication for how much of a Show/Season you've watched. This is through a green outline on your profile picture on the Show/Season page. People have asked for these page to display a percentage value as well, so that you can see exactly how much of a Show/Season you've completed.

This is currently the 2nd most requested feature on the roadmap!

3. UI updates + New profile colors!
The Serializd UI will always be changing, to adapt to the growing community and feature set. In this release, I've updated the Error pages to look more refined, along with lots of minor changes across all pages to make the app easier on the eyes. I'm also adding a few new profile colors! 🌈 (Big thank you to the people on Discord who suggested colors)

I'm constantly open to feedback on UI, so let me know in the comments if there's something that you feel strongly about!

4. Bug fixes... as always
Lots of bug fixes coming in this release. Really appreciate everyone who sends me emails or posts in the Discord about bugs!

There's one other thing I want to address, for the sake of transparency: Serializd on Web (Desktop)

I think its pretty obvious that Serializd on Web is not of the same quality as the app. There's missing features and the UI has lots of flaws.

I'm fully aware of this, and trying to figure out what to do. The current problem is simply time. Working on Desktop is like working on a completely different app. Over the past couple of months, I did have a volunteer help out with some UI fixes here and there (which was super helpful and I really appreciate them!) but there's still too much to work on.

I have some solutions in mind, but they will take a little bit of time. Please stay tuned. I love that people find Serializd on Web to be useful, and I want to make sure that their needs are met. I'm not forgetting about you!
