LKS Aston Martin DBS GT Zagato

(w/ Hotfix)

So here it is, probably my best work yet the Aston Martin DBS GT Zagato
if you're into exclusive and fancy GT cars then this car really needs no introduction, but if you aren't...well...i did introduce it briefly in my previous info/teaser post.

I'm gonna state right now that the physics are far from accurate in terms of suspension and aero
BUT

• the engine power and torque are almost identical to the real life counterpart.
• the gear ratios are exactly the same ratios you get on the DBS SL (which this car is based on)

So I tried my best to make it as GT-like as I could, changing values as I see fit, if they don't live up to your expectations then the car is as always unencrypted (3D model and data) so you are free to change it up to fit your understanding of a GT car.

Things to know:

• EXTRA A - Driver-side overhead interior light
• EXTRA B - Passenger-side overhead interior light
• EXTRA C - Rear fog lights
• EXTRA D - Driver-side door and light (different light due to csp limitations)
• EXTRA E - Hood/bonnet and passenger-side door
• 3 Sets of different tires (Street, Track and Wet respectively)

Progress report:

So far yet again I haven't improved on any 3D knowledge of mine per se, there are almost no custom 3D models included in this mod, honestly generally I haven't learned anything new with this mod aside from making animations which caused me a lot of headaches and 2 days of troubleshooting because all the guides I saw had a small detail wrong which I figured out purely by accident (details can be found on ACMP by searching "misaligned doors after animation plays" in #Help if someone is interested to see what the issue was and how I fixed it)

I kinda learned how to make active aero animations but the issue is that they act quite differently to what I anticipated, if you test out the car you'll see what I mean, I've been looking into it but so far I didn't find a solution. but generally both the ducktail and the diffuser have good enough animations.

As a side note I wanna say that even though I have an encryption tool available I'm refraining from using it for these projects to let everyone have a crack at new things and learn new stuff following my steps, so far I haven't seen anyone do anything that would be frowned upon with my mods which makes me happy but seeing how active lately the whole "selling free mods of others" thing is, I have a feeling that at some point this issue might start here too, so as to avoid the necessity of encrypting, if you ever notice anyone asking for these mods anywhere, I'd appreciate you sending them the proper link or at least naming my patreon or discord so they don't get scammed, I believe this would make the community a better place.
