Ren'Py 8.0.0 and 7.5.0 Prereleased
Added 2022-05-22 17:15:05 +0000 UTCI've made prereleases of Ren'Py 8.0.0 and 7.5.0. Ren'Py 8.0 adds support for Python 3, while Ren'Py 7.5 continues support for Python 2.7 and improves support for the web platform. Both fix issues and add features, including Visual Studio Code integration, new displayables, and support for the Steam Deck.
These prereleases are meant for testing and giving you an idea of what's coming in the release.
I expect to update these several times before the final release, though I won't post updates here, so as not to spam the mailbox of everyone that is generous enough to support these.

Seems good. I see virtually no difference when trying my games with Ren'Py 8.0 except the divisor now using a float, which just requires adding an extra slash to make //.

2022-05-23 17:37:13 +0000 UTCconfig.choice_empty_window is SUCH a good QOL thing & I have suspicions that Hide() None is going to make my life easier, too. Also very exciting that Python 3 is finally here!! Congrats + thank you!! 🥳
