Ren'Py Developer Update - October 2020

That's why this month's article talks a bit about what goes into making a release of Ren'Py. It also contains an example of a new feature, showing how you can apply chromatic aberration to displayables.

Wow, there's a lot that goes into making a new release! It was interesting reading a bit about the behind the scenes. I can't imagine how tedious and exhausting running the engine on multiple platforms can be!

2020-11-03 17:06:03 +0000 UTCI am very excited about this new update ! I know you are always looking for new article (even if you will probably take a well deserve break after this huge update ^^). I believe with the new MatrixColor we can now change the color of a full layered image for having night version for example, an article about that would be really cool ! (Before, I believe we add to tint indivually each layer to make it works). Anyway, thanks again for your hardwork ! I really love creating with renpy !
