Chapter 30: A Single Man Against Heaven!

Tatsuya stared at the Angels menacingly.

The assembly of Angels was indeed somewhat intimidating but even the highest power level, Michael, was just 97,789.

To the near 500,000 Demonic Energy bearing Tatsuya that was nothing but a joke.

And the Angels could tell this as well.

The sheer oppressive force waving outwards from him caused their body to tremble and shake in fear. But none of the Angels retreated, they stood fearlessly, weapon clasped and battle ready.

So what if they had to die?

To protect Heaven, to protect the countless innocents, and to protect the Holy Land left by God, they would gladly sacrifice themselves.

A flicker of annoyance passed through Tatsuya's eyes.

He'd love to slaughter them but he could see the invisible barrier above them. Even with his strength it'd take at least five minutes of constant bombardment to break the barrier.

But even that wasn't what deterred Tatsuya from committing a slaughter.

It was his Spidey Sense.

He felt a faint tingle of danger whenever he thought of attacking Heaven.

This made him surprised and thoughtful.

With Great Red on his back and only enough World Essence for one more teleportation, Tatsuya couldn't afford mistakes. Kaguya could only passively stall Great Red from sensing the lingering World Essence.

But who was Tatsuya?

Would he leave without any benefits?

A primal aura erupted from his body, far stronger than before. It crashed towards the Angels and thousands of them instantly fell to their knees, bleeding from their seven orifices.

Even Michael felt his knees buckle from the unrestrained display of power.

But he wasn't too worried, the Soul Reaper had just expended so much energy in killing Rizevim. Did he truly have enough magic reserves to wage war against Heaven?

Fighting against an individual and fighting against an entire race…

The sheer difference between the two was astronomical.

“Are you truly going against Heaven?” Michael asked with a grave face as he raised his hand and stared at the airborne Soul Reaper, “Why?”

Tatsuya lowered his head to match Michael’s gaze.

“Negotiation?” He muttered, his inhumane voice echoing in the ears of the soldiers of Heaven, “That is not out of the table. Will you be willing to listen to one of my demands?” He asked softly.

“State it.” Michael gritted his teeth.

It was humiliating.

A psychopathic murderer was negotiating with Heaven.

Father… how low we have fallen…

Michael felt a profound sense of sadness settle in his heart.

“Seraph Gabriel.”

Suddenly, Tatsuya's voice reached them and the Angels paled.

“I want Gabriel.”

“Impossible!” Uriel roared.

Raphael and Uriel immediately jumped in front of the stunned Gabriel, protecting her from his demonic gaze. To them, Gabriel was no different than a precious little sister. How could they accept this unreasonable demand?

Their thoughts were synonymous with all the Angels present.

Michael was not surprised by his request.

“Soul Reaper.”

His voice echoed, filled with unwavering determination yet tinged with sadness.

“This is Heaven.”

Michael's wings unfurled, bringing a bright radiance with them, it soothed the mind of all the Angels present.

“Heaven may be weak…”

The truth of God's death was not known to most Angels, only privy to the most hierarchical Angels.

Michael's body was covered by armor in an instant. Golden runes shimmered beautifully and they illuminated the surroundings.

“... But it will never cower!”

As Michael's words fell the bloody bruised Angels got up.

Nearly a hundred thousand Angels had gathered and simultaneously their wings unfurled as their holy radiance coalesced in the sky, defying the Soul Reaper's will.

Gabriel felt her eyes go red.

They were all standing up for her.

Many she had never even spoken to or knew.

Yet now, for her, all of Heaven was willing to go into battle.

The Soul Reaper stood alone, a hundred thousand Angels standing against him.

It seemed like a stalemate had been achieved as the Soul Reaper fell silent. Whether out of respect, anger or awe… it remained unknown.

But one thing was for sure.

They would not bow!

But!

He-he-he-he-he-he-he-he...

All of a sudden.

An eerie laughter escaped the Soul Reaper's lips, sending a shiver down the spines of all the Angels present. They could not see his face, but they could imagine the crazed madness hidden behind the mask.

“Angels of Heaven!”

The Soul Reaper's bloody wings retracted yet he stood seamlessly in the air. His bone-chilling voice reached the end of Heaven.

“Do not mistake my mercy for cowardice!”

As his words echoed the Angels noticed the previously holy sky turn red. The holy clouds behind the Soul Reaper began churning.

The Angels watched in horror as the sky began to bleed.

Swirling intangible masses of blood began forming behind the Soul Reaper, hanging like broken stars in the sky. The Angels watched as the attack that had flattened Japan now hovered in numbers of hundreds above them.

The glorious sky of Heaven had been tarnished.

And the Soul Reaper who stood motionless in the sky, the harbinger of death, stared at them silently.

The faces of the Seraphs paled.

“Should you defy my order today—”

The Soul Reaper raised his hand, his fair palm facing the entrance of Heaven.

”—Heaven shall cease to exist.”

In response to his words, the bloody ceros in the sky began multiplying, glowing menacingly, washing despair over the Angels.

But they weren't hopeless.

Their faith told them.

Should the Soul Reaper attack Heaven, God will intervene.

God would protect them.

But the Seraphs knew better.

God was dead.

Should the Soul Reaper wage war against Heaven today a mountain of corpses would be formed and rivers of blood would flow.

The Seraphs knew not of the Soul Reaper's confrontation with the Dragon God of Dreams. They did not know the Soul Reaper did not have much time left.

Swish!

All of a sudden, a bright light erupted, like a shooting star and crashed towards the Soul Reaper.

For a second, time froze.

And before the Angels could come to their senses they saw a crying Gabriel standing next to the Soul Reaper.

“N-No!”

“Gabriel!!!”

“Angel Gabriel!!!!”

The voices of the grieving Angels reached her ears, especially those of her dear brothers. Her eyes, filled with tears, could see no one properly, her vision blurry. She looked towards the gathered Angels and smiled, tears streaming down her cheeks.

A smile that was undoubtedly the most beautiful in the world.

Please stay safe.

Her lips parted soundlessly.

“GABRIEL!”

Michael cared for nothing, his face sweating with anxiety, tears threatening to spill. Raphael and Uriel roared behind him.

But in front of their eyes, a bright white light erupted and both the Soul Reaper and Gabriel disappeared.

“ANOMALY!!!”

As they disappeared a furious roar echoed in the Heavens.

But it was too late.

Japan, Shibuya.

Inside a seemingly empty house, two individuals appeared out of nowhere.

It was a man and a woman.

The man wore a black robe with white sashes around his arms. There was a small Japanese character near his collar, just above his chest. He had flowing long hair that reached his waist, as black as ink. He wore a demonic mask with two vertical red lines streaming down, and a pair of golden eyes.

Beside him stood a tear-stricken woman, her beautiful yet soft-looking blonde curly hair was slightly dishevelled. She wore golden armor, accentuating her voluptuous figure.

She had a large flower with ribbon-like decoration on the side of her head, near her ear. She wore a thin, ornamental headband with a small design on her forehead. Her eyes were large and reflective, with a downcast, teary expression. Her face was smooth, with delicate features marred by the streaks of tears flowing down.

“You will face retribution one day.”

Tatsuya ignored Gabriel’s choking voice filled with sorrow.

“I missed about a hundred strands of World Essence,” Kaguya whispered in his ear.

Was the fluctuation caused by killing Rizevim and kidnapping Gabriel that great?

“Rizevim was one of the major antagonists of the story. I've gotten about 3,000 Chaos strands just from him.” Kaguya frowned, “While absorbing it and trying to hide the fluctuations from the Dragon God of Dreams I had my hands full. The moment Gabriel rushed towards your side the second burst of World Essence, while less wasn't what I could hide.”

Tatsuya looked at his panel and noticed the newly acquired 4,000 World Essence, feeling a bit forlorn. A single unhindered Teleportation costs 1,000 World Essence.

Did slaughtering 90% of the Gremory Territory net me nothing?

He couldn't help but ask. The destruction he had caused was as great if not greater than when he attacked Japan first.

“The Heavenly Spirit is strictly controlling the flow of World Essence. Minor acts of genocide won't amount to anything. Unless you change the fate of Major Characters like Gabriel and Rizevim you won't get anything. Even if not Major, at least known characters are needed for World Essence.” Kaguya explained, floating behind him.

Tatsuya closed his eyes before sighing.

His head was aching.

Currently, he had two active clones.

One was being escorted away by the Khaos Brigade and one was taking care of Issei, Asia and Issei’s mother.

After thinking about it, he dispelled the clone looking over Issei.

He gave Issei some minor instructions and told him he'd return tomorrow. He wasn't worried about Issei touching Asia. Not only wasn't he aware of her existence but even if he was, with his current condition Tatsuya doubted whether he was even capable of thinking anything sexual.

Having your mother raped in front of you so cruelly and then having repeated nightmares of it was a trauma that would take at least a decade to heal.

His headache lessened and he sat down on the couch, waving the mask away. Gabriel who was silently observing him was stunned. For a second she froze.

The man was impossibly beautiful.

She couldn't find a single flaw in his appearance.

If she weren't aware of his identity she'd think he was an Angel.

The Blood Clones were made in the image of Tatsuya's original body but even further refined. The Soul Reaper was designed to look like Tatsuya but more mature and sharp-looking.

A few minutes passed in silence, the air heavy.

“Why have you kidnapped me?” Gabriel couldn't bear it any longer.

“I wanted to taste an Angel,” Tatsuya spoke bluntly, his gaze towards her impassive.

One eye glowed menacingly while the other remained dull without any luster, as if dead.

“...What did you say?” Gabriel’s turned pale as she desperately hoped to have heard wrong.

Thud!

Tatsuya stood up and grabbed her by her neck before slamming her into the wall of the house. Gabriel choked, tears spilling from her eyes as she saw the demon scrutinising her.

“I spared hundreds of thousands of Angels, all in exchange for lust. Are you unwilling?” Tatsuya had no reason to pretend otherwise.

To him, who only feared the True Dragon Gods, there was no need for any pretense. If he wanted to fuck someone he'd fuck them and if he wanted to kill someone he'd kill them.

Why bother explaining himself to ants?

“Tell me, are you unwilling to accept some mere humiliation in exchange for the lives of countless Angels?”

Gabriel’s body went limp, her resistance gone. Tears streamed down her face as she closed her eyes.

“Please… please don't. I…” Gabriel's face twisted into one of grief, “I will fall…”

Tatsuya's grip loosened as Gabriel fell to the ground on her knees, not daring to raise her head should she accidentally cause him arousal.

Angels could have sexual relationships but there were very strict conditions for it for Angels to not fall.

Angels need to purify themselves when making love and both the Angel and partner must undergo a lengthy purification ritual (it takes several hours).

They must also need to do it inside a specially crafted barrier and they both must not harbor any kind of possessive feelings while doing it, rather it must be done out of pure love.

If any of these conditions are not met, the Angel would fall.

And most importantly, the barrier that would allow the Angels to have sex hasn't even been developed yet. It would be made in the future for Issei and Irina as Michael would create a loophole in the rules for them.

Though, neither Tatsuya nor Gabriel were aware of this.

Tatsuya's gaze towards Gabriel didn't change.

“Is falling not worth saving the Angels?”

Gabriel trembled.

Could she refute his words?

Of course not.

And Tatsuya knew this too.

“Get up.” He ordered coldly and Gabriel remained unresponsive. The kind and naive angel would face hell from now on and no one could save her.

Gabriel placed her soft fair hands on the floor and shakily got up.

Tatsuya's command echoed in the small house, "Strip."

His voice was a harsh, cold order that left no room for refusal.

Gabriel stood frozen, her body trembling as tears continued to stream down her face, leaving glistening trails on her porcelain skin. She remained silent, her breath hitching as she tried to process the humiliation and fear that gripped her.

"I said, strip," Tatsuya repeated, his tone even more icy and unyielding.

With shaking hands, Gabriel began to comply, her fingers fumbling with the clasps of her golden armor. Piece by piece, the armor fell to the floor, clattering loudly in the silent room.

Her body was revealed inch by inch, her skin flawless and smooth, her curves generous and enticing. She wore only a thin, white undergarment that did little to hide her most intimate areas.

Her breasts heaved with each shaky breath, her nipples hardening from a mix of fear and the cool air that touched her exposed skin.

She slid the undergarment down her hips, her body shaking with sobs as she stood completely naked and vulnerable before him, her tears falling freely, her body glistening with sweat and tears.

Tatsuya's gaze roamed over her body, taking in every curve, every line, every flawless inch of her skin.

His eyes lingered on her full breasts, her narrow waist, her rounded hips, and the triangle of blonde curls between her legs.

He reached out, his hands following his gaze, starting from her shoulders, down her arms, and then back up to her neck, where he felt her rapid pulse beneath his fingers.

He cupped her breasts, feeling their weight and softness, his thumbs brushing over her hardened nipples, eliciting a shiver from her that she couldn't suppress.

He moved his hands down her stomach, her skin quivering under his touch, and then to her hips, pulling her closer to him, pressing her body against his.

He inhaled deeply, taking in her scent, a heady mix of sweet and musky that was uniquely her, a scent that drove him wild with lust.

Gabriel stood rigid, her eyes downcast, trying her best to clear her mind, to not feel, to not react.

She tried to focus on her breathing, on the cool air against her skin, on anything but the hands that roamed her body, violating her, claiming her. Gabriel stood like carved wood, utterly motionless, her mind a frantic, desperate blankness, trying her best to block out everything, to prevent any possessive feeling that would cause her to fall.

Tatsuya's hand tangled in her hair, gripping it tightly as he cupped her cheek with his other hand, forcing her to look at him.

He leaned in, his tongue tracing the path of her tears, tasting their saltiness on her skin.

He moved to her lips, licking them gently at first, then more insistently, probing her teeth with his tongue.

Gabriel kept her lips tightly sealed, her body rigid as she tried to endure the violation, her mind screaming at her to resist, to not give in.

Tatsuya tightened his grip on her hair, pulling her head back slightly, causing her to wince in pain, her eyes watering from the sharp tug.

His tongue plunged into her mouth, exploring every part, his kiss becoming sloppy and forceful, his breath hot and heavy as it mingled with hers. He dominated her completely, his tongue invading her mouth, his hands gripping her tightly, holding her in place as he took what he wanted.

He devoured her mouth, his kiss brutal and passionate, his hands roaming her body, squeezing, caressing, before devolving into a raw, forced, sloppy kiss, wet and open-mouthed, utterly consuming her, sucking the very air from her lungs.

Their saliva mixed together as Gabriel stared blankly ahead, her vision blurry from crying.

Nnngh!

A sudden pain assaulted Gabriel as she was forcefully brought down to her knees.

Tatsuya stared at the kneeling Angel without a hint of pity. He admired her character, her willingness to sacrifice herself for her loved ones.

But that's all.

His affection was limited to admiration.

He pulled his left hand back and loosened his robe. The long cloth fell and his chiseled body was on full display. Gabriel shuddered as a musky scent wafted to her small cute nose causing it to twitch. She slowly backed away but instantly hit the wall.

She raised her head and looked at Tatsuya with terror, the shadow of his large throbbing cock gracing her features.

Tatsuya looked down at her.

“Bring your wings out,” Tatsuya commanded and Gabriel cried, letting out soft whimpers. She had hoped he would back down but realisation slowly settled.

Today she would fall.

Her wings burst forth, pressed against the wall.

They were beautiful.

They were pure white.

“Gabriel…” Tatsuya whispered, “Forget your identity. You’re my maidservant from today onwards. No one will be able to save you and if you ever try to escape remember…”

Tatsuya stepped forward, the tip of his throbbing hot cock pressed against her delicate pearly nose.

“...Heaven can't.”
