Embrace Of The Abyss— 3

"What are we doing here?"

"There's something I want to show you. It's better to not have people around." Xia Feng said.

"But isn't the park closed?" Xia Ling was confused.

"So what? We'll sneak in."

"Wha—?" Before she could protest Xia Feng placed his palm against her mouth. He brought a finger to his lips and motioned for her to be quiet.

She nodded and he removed his hand.

"But... That's illegal." She whispered with hesitation.

"Don't worry, it's only illegal if we get caught." Xia Feng assured her and they both sneaked in.

Xia Ling's heart started racing despite the fact that they were doing something wrong. She was embarrassed that she was also feeling a bit excited.

When had she ever gone out on a night tour with her brother? The incident at the house was already put in the back of her mind. 

Soon they reached an empty spot and the eerie silence in the forest made her a bit afraid. She grabbed Xia Feng's sleeve and looked around cautiously as if anticipating a ghost to jump out of nowhere.

Of course, she didn't actually believe ghosts existed.

Xia Feng soon stopped walking and sat down.

Xia Ling looked at him curiously but seeing him not moving and sporting a serious expression she decided not to disturb him.

She started scrolling her phone while Xia Feng 'meditated'.

Soon ten minutes passed and Xia Ling was itching to leave. She was feeling cold and her initial excitement had died down after Xia Feng sat down and started meditating.

But just as she was getting impatient, Xia Feng opened his eyes.

"Why did you start meditating? I'm getting bored gege."

But to her surprise, Xia Feng got up and didn't answer her. Instead, he walked to her silently.

His expressionless face made her nervous.

"Gege...?"

Xia Feng looked at the tree she was leaning on and gently nudged her shoulder. Xia Ling while confused took a step back. 

Smack!

Xia Feng pulled his hand back and after taking a deep breath slammed his palm into the tree. 

"What the hell?" She was a bit fearful and took another step back.

Xia Feng retracted his hand and beckoned for her to come over. Xia Ling curiously trodded over and her eyes widened like saucers.

On the tree, there was now a palm imprint. It was as if Xia Feng had pressed his hand into clay and the clay was now shaped like his palm

Xia Ling's mind started working furiously and only a few seconds later did she deem it impossible.

She suspiciously glanced at her brother's smiling face and then towards the tree. She did this a few times before pouting.

She copied Xia Feng's weird martial stance and pulled her hand back before smacking it at the tree.

"Ah! Oww~ oww~ ouch~!" She crouched down and held her hand in pain.

"Gege..." With tearful eyes, she looked at Xia Feng with hate. "How?"

"Don't tell me you were harnessing world energy or whatever nonsense while meditating and now you're super powerful."

"Hmm?" Xia Feng looked at her curiously, "What kind of guess is that?"

"It's from one of the novels I've read." She replied before jumping up and inspecting the palm imprint.

"Do it again!" She suddenly demanded.

Xia Feng smiled but didn't reply.

She shook his hand violently, "Please! Go hoooo and smack the tree with the haaaaaaaa otherwise, you're a phoney, a fraud!"

"Alright, alright."

Xia Feng smacked another tree and under Xia Ling's astonished gaze, another palm imprint appeared.

The problem was that these palm imprints were at least 2-3 inches deep. How was that humanly possible?

Xia Ling looked at Xia Feng's scrawny body with suspicion. Of course, her earlier guess about harnessing world energy or whatnot was just a joke.

She didn't actually believe he was doing something like that.

Or rather it was hard to believe something like that. She was a young science girl!

"Listen carefully to what I'm about to say." Xia Feng's expression turned serious and Ling'er gulped subconsciously before nodding her pretty little head.

"I am different from the rest of the world. You are different from the rest of the world. A thousand years? If we want to we can live even a hundred times more than that."

Xia Ling originally wanted to tease him for spouting bullshit with a straight face but looking at the palm imprint she hesitated.

Of course, just because of such 'Divine Strength' Ling'er wouldn't suddenly believe Xia Feng could become Immortal.

To her living more than a thousand years was nothing but immortality.

Yet just because of this 'Divine Strength' she was willing to hear him out. It was fascinating how he could generate so much force from his underweight body.

"If you're willing to follow all my commands and give me your absolute trust we can do this together otherwise forget it. Consider it a little night out between siblings."

Xia Ling gulped once more. There was a sweet temptation in his words. It was as if, if she agreed, from tomorrow she would be separated from the world.

"I'm different from the rest of the world...?" She muttered before nodding hesitantly. His conditions weren't special.

She trusted him with all her heart.

"Come here," Xia Feng nodded with a pleased smile and pointed a finger at her forehead.

Xia Ling felt a barrage of information assault her mind. Ancient scriptures and incomprehensible letters jumbled around in her head.

Just as she was about to scream in pain Xia Feng knocked her unconscious. 

His expression turned hideous as he gazed at the unconscious girl whose face was squirming in pain.

"Good! Good! Good!"

He gnashed his teeth but all of a sudden his expression changed and returned to normal.

"No matter, the last ingredient has been found. I won't fail this time." He glanced at her slender figure and gently caressed her head, "The Nine Yin Body. Whoever hid you here, I'll find him and refine his soul for eternity."

Xia Feng's hatred wasn't unfounded, the Nine Yin Body was an extremely important ingredient he needed and yet after scouring the entire Immortal Realm, he couldn't find it.

Special Physiques were unique and couldn't be replicated. If one existed in the cosmos then unless there was an erasure of spirit, there wouldn't be a new owner of the same Special Physique.

Was this their last struggle against him?

He snorted and cleared his mind.

He undressed the young girl completely and got on top of her. He placed his hand just below her stomach and closed his eyes.

After a few seconds, he heaved a sigh of relief.

Her purity was intact. 

Then he poked several parts of her body before reshaping her meridians. The problem in most mortal worlds was the twisted and broken meridians.

Even if this world was full of vitality and Qi most mortals would be unable to cultivate.

Being forced into this mortal world, despite being the Nin Yin Body, after several cycles suffered the same fate.

It was better for her to be unconscious.

The pain would be too much to handle.

As for getting aroused by the young girl's delicate figure?

Impossible.

Mortal desires and emotions were far beneath him.

Even the hatred he had just shown was extremely rare but considering the trouble he had faced he found it justifiable.

"Going through the billions of mortal worlds in an aimless search, how could I waste so much time?"

Xia Feng shook his head and redressed the girl before continuing to cultivate.
