So, first of all, apologies for the lack of audiobook so far for November. This is something I need to get sorted and my hope is to get it recorded and published this weekend.
Last month was a very difficult month emotionally. Due to the arrival of Omicron, plans for Christmas were thrown into the air and memories of last year, when we went back into something akin to a full lockdown, came back to generate anxiety once again. So for three weeks I was essentially constantly fighting depression, sleep deprivation and a lack of creative drive that resulted in the final $5 story being late and the audiobook not being recorded at all because, to be frank, I sounded awful on the first pass a week ago.
I could've just published it, but I don't think it's fair to release a bad audiobook given you've paid for it. I want to record something you can enjoy and I plan to. This Patreon gives me extra work but it is immensely rewarding in a way most other activities in my life are not. You're supporting me through that and, as always, I have nothing but the utmost gratitude.
Hopefully all your Christmases will go to plan! I'm certainly hoping mine does, and that I can write and record as normal.
