Some notes I did for myself for the Vagabonds comic back in 2017 (it’s been that long!). Eventually it turned out to be too much effort given the time constraints.
It was a nice exercise in art direction and solidifying rendering styles, though! Aside from the shape language, I think it still aged well!! If I were to improve on this, I’d do examples on how to handle and distribute toning given how limiting it can be.
