Oh geeze I'm rusty! This took me quite some time to work on. I realized that I still have some troubles joining the torso and the hip so I wanted to focus on that for the most part of these studies.
Compared to male torsos, instead of focusing on shapes (of the muscular structure), I feel that getting female torsos right lies in getting the correct contours. I've divided the sides of the torso into 4 sections. Usually, I'd simplify this contour when I draw with my usual style, but keeping this in mind helps me understand the hip more.
I still have problems in getting the form of the hips right so maybe I'll be looking more into that.
An added note, if you've noticed, I include the deltoids (shoulder muscles) into my torso studies as it's not only connected to the clavicle, but it also wraps around the torso.
