Added 2018-04-05 13:58:12 +0000 UTCExpanded a bit and wanted to focus on things I kinda noticed in my drawings: my faces sometimes come off as flat, especially the eyes.
Apparently, a technique to resolve this is to match the corners of each eye to the contour of the face, which I sometimes forget to do. I'll make sure to keep more of that in mind when I draw/sketch!
I also tried memorizing how to draw ears again because the form of it eludes me sometimes. I tried applying the classic fish hook + letter Y technique but for the first attempts, they didn't really come through. I kinda had to draw a bit from reference to understand them again hahaha.
Also!! I found myself drawing one of the faces in the book. I then tried stylizing it and exaggerating it for the second drawing. You can see the notes I wrote detailing my thought process when translating this face.
Will still try to finish complete week with more heads and maybe I'll somehow understand it again.....
