I recently read the entirety of Middlewest, a series that takes place in a fantasy Midwest America. (you can find the first issue for free through that link) It was good, but the thing that really struck me was the art and colors. I'm hoping that maybe taking inspiration from this series will help me improve my art, since I don't think that my art is all that far off visually from Jorge Corona's lines, and the colors that Jean-Francois Beaulieu did really helps to enhance the line work rather than hide it.
Ingress has always meant to be a playground for me to try out new techniques and learn the art of comics, which is you'll see me going from black and white to color and vast changes in art styles. I feel like enhancing the coloring is just a natural progression.
