Perish the Thought

Every angel has a demon they are metaphysically bound to, forming as a foil to them. They are mortally tied; they grow in power in tandem, and killing one kills the other. This relationship is known as their "Bane" and the dynamics are highly varied, ranging from mortal hatred to genuine affection. Perish and Glory are banes and also twin siblings, which is highly unusual. Perish does care about Glory in his own way, but the two have trouble seeing eye-to-eye. Being heirs to the thrones of heaven and hell complicate these matters only slightly.
Perish the Thought, like Glory, is a talented psychic. Unlike Glory's surface-level telepathy, Perish's cognitive inquiries are significantly less noninvasive. He tries not to relish it. He's just minding his business, is all.
