2024-08-13 12:49:54 +0000 UTCPages like this are bittersweet, because it's clear that Al and Kat could have been good friends early on, but Kat's abrasive entry into both his life and the household put Al on guard and her chaos has really shaken up a lot of the already unstable parts of his day-to-day. She's loud and intense in ways that are intended to be friendly but he's like a cat who just wants to approach people on his own. Here's hoping that this chapter gives them a chance to finally connect, no matter what krakens or secret gnomes or whatever else the writer and artist have in store!
