VTT Tokens: Gem Dragons
Added 2024-01-05 01:46:04 +0000 UTCWHEW okay these took way longer than they were supposed to-- the holidays kept me busy, my wrist was acting up, and on top of that I was gifted Baldur's Gate 3 so uh. My time management skills basically disappeared, and I can't even get Astarion to like me smh.
ANYWAY, look! Gem dragons! I wanted to go a bit extra with these since an encounter with these would probably be a special occasion, so I went with a fully-rendered, geode-inspired look for them. This is not something I'm going to be doing normally since it takes way too long to do, but I wouldn't mind doing it on occasion for big, boss-encounter types of monsters.
Feel free to use these in your own campaign-- all I ask is to please refrain from redistributing them wholesale. You can send them to your DM and your friends if you want, but like, don't reupload them for public use or anything like that.

Oh Raven for sure. My headcanon for Raven's voice is brighter and a lot less drawl-y than Astarion's, but he is the only one who can match the level of cuntiness that Astarion has.

There are some minor gameplay annoyances that make me wish there was like, a confirmation window or something (I've accidentally incited multiple friendly fire incidents when changing my mind in combat...), but otherwise I am having a blast 😄

It was really fun figuring out how to render them to look gemstone-like, and while I think the Sapphire dragon manages to look the most polished and glassy, I really like the textures and contrast of the topaz one the most 😄
