I meant to mention that in that scene where the men admit their love for each other, there was a sort of clumsy earnestness to his performance that indicated he had unashamedly committed to it, in a way his scene partner didn't seem willing to. It didn't make it a good performance unfortunately. He's probably a nice guy who just can't act

2023-03-16 14:36:24 +0000 UTCLol at the person who showed up in the Google results early on saying that season 1-5 of the show is "flawless" because even when I was a fan I noticed that the early seasons have serious issues with "soft" sexism and racism. Also, while those seasons felt like they had a more cohesive whole than later ones, I wouldn't exactly consider the writing especially "good" television. The series had it's charms, but it never reached greatness.
