Ramble Topic Voting!

Here 'tis at last

Comments

This is a straight A+ list of options.

Erik Stevenson

I know what i'm voting for, hint I'm a bad car.

Lost Johnny

Agreed. Given that most animals have neither windows nor doors, and rarely exceed 1 HP, the ATC thus officially endorses "You're A Bad Car" as implicitly animal-related.

Steve Ray

"Bad car" could definitely be the next "how to name a horse"

Pj Martin

Like dogcatchers' nets, all Ramble topics are completely normal in this universe and not sexual.

Steve Ray

I had a suggestion get vetoed once. Jenny had a very nice and complete explanation of why she had to do it. Class act, that lady is.

This patreon page has a long history of democracy. If there's anything that shouldn't be rambled about, it's vetoed at the suggestion phase. So any topic here is already a topic deemed worth a ramble. Plus the people are already paying for the right to vote. To disenfranchise them at this point would be both anticapitalist and antidemocratic. Plus you're proposing removing power from the lower class to redistribute it into the hands of the already most powerful, so it's also antisocialist and autocratic. In summary, maintaining the current ramble poll status quo is a bipartisan issue and the only argument I see against it is that of a Bad Car, or perhaps a monarchist.

Shaun Cheah

Why does the "you're a bad car" suggestion just sound like someone's kink they're really trying to make happen? =|

Daniel Richardson

Just a modest suggestion: I think Jenny should just pick the topic that she most wants to ramble about and do that. That way the top patrons still get something extra: they submit the topics and we lesser patrons get to see it but I think the videos would be more fun (both for her to make and us to watch) if Jenny just picks what she most feels like rambling about.

👍 The questionanswer is at 01:35, but there's some context first: https://youtu.be/EMRnG_mtosY?t=55

Shred Cadmium

That link starts the video at the beginning...is there a MM:SS we should look at?

Steve Ray

A modification on the "You're a bad car" idea could be Jenny reading through comments on the "Better Disney Theme Park Movies", and calling everyone who makes a comment that isn't their car name a bad car.

Bryan Sutton

I would love to see the monthly ramble go on a field trip to Disneyland!

Eric MacMillan

The whole of this is just genius tbh. 🧠 I love it when the end of a sentence answers a question asked at the beginning of the same sentence https://youtu.be/EMRnG_mtosY

Shred Cadmium

i need to know if i'm a bad car tbh

Jason Riexinger

“Stares Dispassionately” is a brilliant suggestion. I think it was that moment during Better Disney Theme Park Movies when I was going through the back-catalogue and I finally realised: this person is a bona fide genius. 🧠 Other favourite moments: 5 Force lightning during Episode VIII Wishlist 4 “Ah try to see the good in this world,” from Westworld Sales Pitch 3 The casting-decision “no!” from Fantastic Beasts Script Doctor 2 That little look after changing ‘mom’ to ‘mum’ in Trapped On A Blizzard With Jennifer Lawrence 1 “Pennywise has one weakness. Physical trauma.”

Shred Cadmium

I don't think I've laughed harder in the past month than after reading the bad car suggestion, my god.

Daniel Anderson

It might be easier to list the number of times she leaves Disneyland each month.

Steve Ray

I didn't vote for "You're a bad car," but I will not be upset in the slightest if it wins.

Josh Draper

I think you can uncheck it

Ravi Pillalamarri

I may have voted for the bad car one only because the suggestion made me laugh for like a solid minute but I'm going to feel so bad if it wins.

Ilya Nepomnyashchiy

Less interested in Fantastic Beasts getting fixed now that JK Rowling is a terf.

Andrew Craig Burger

[low chants "horse girl" over and over]

Val (trickycrayon)

Of course it's moral -- many people are bad cars, and so are many cars! This video will give society an easy way to put them On Notice.

Steve Ray

An SCP is a potentially dangerous creature or object contained in a safe location, like a mystery in a zoo.

Steve Ray

For sure-fire *eventual* victory, join the Animal Topics Coalition! With small adjustments like "Dune, the planet of sandworms" and "SCPs and other mysterious zoos," these topics will become animal-related, making future victory inevitable.

Steve Ray

Thank you to whoever suggested Dune and SCPs. Someday we might win 😞

A message is usually sent out near the end of each month (though this one was late). Just reply to that with the topic you'd like to suggest. If there's an issue, you'll get a reply and a chance to suggest an alternate. Otherwise, you'll know it's in when you see it in the poll.

Shaun Cheah

How does one suggest a ramble topic (i am in the right tier i just don’t know how to put forth a topic)

Spencer Hastings

I don't know if voting for the "you're a bad car" is immoral or not, but I really hope it wins.

Evan Wachholz

For the D-Land Vlog topic, would it be possible to ask it to start from the alarm clock and end in "good night" : )

Juha Tuisku

dune is a science fiction novel by Frank Herbert

can you try to explain in the replies

Ravi Pillalamarri

I know nobody's gonna vote for it but now that I've seen the option I'm honestly really curious about your music taste

lain taylor

If anyone's wandering why the Uncut 4-Hour Review of TROS is not here, I can try to explain in the replies but the short version is it was suggested, but there was an explanation that I think was very fair, and the Space Snake was put up instead. Anyway hyped to watch the contest between Surprising Movies and Disneyland Vlog. Rooting for the latter!

Shaun Cheah

What is scp. What is dune.

Spencer Hastings

"You’re a Bad Car"

anthony grey

I am so excited for Any! But omg SCPs🥺💕💕

Miri

B.O.N.K.E.R.S.

Michael Wilson

What's an SCP

Ravi Pillalamarri

I'm curious how many times Jenny actually goes to Disneyland each month.

This list is bonkers
