Love this!!!

Doctor. P

The knights of ren were a Korean woman! But now they're just permanently the knights of ren

As entertaining as these go, this series of (genre of?) videos has me thinking critically about movies and writing in areas I had not considered.

Dundough Breadbox

That's an inwardly-directed standard - I don't (or at least, I try not to) apply it to others.

Samuel Roberts

It's not gauche to suggest collabs with other artists you like.

Steve Ray

I think begging for Jenny collabs is generally gauche but here I do want a team-up with someone who does diagrams

Samuel Roberts

Me: “Geez, 10 film-minutes does sound like a long time, but probably Jenny’s overselling a bit just how complic” Two minutes later: “wait, how many babies as I gonna have to track here?”

Samuel Roberts

On point review of the movie, and I loved how you finished with the sock analogy. Brilliant.

Team Valiant Souls

For girl magic, you need witchcraft, not wizardry.

Steve Ray

Maybe the after credits scene is just a screenwriting credit for Grindelwald, which also fills in the "what are his crimes??" plot hole.

Neil Dutton

Nice work!

Neil Dutton

That "Can't Spells" thing got to me too. I was just listening to his mumbo jumbo not making out half of it until he said "Can't Spells" and I could only think "what the hell is going on here?" Also, it is English, but the UK and USA have other terms for normies. So what country is it? I guess Australia or New Zealand, as I'd assume Ireland would use Muggles & Canada would go with Nomag, though I guess they could be the culprits too.

Kyle Williams

Hi! Not currently a patron, but may soon become one, since someone with my name already seems to be. :D You have a conversational style, at least in what I've seen so far, that I quite like. You like MLP? Bonus!

Arj Reznik

Suspiria! Which may no longer be in theaters.

Steve Ray

I want to see that one too. Let us know how you liked it, Shaun.

Tom Bowling

The new Wreck-It Ralph is out, is that not good? I hope it's good; I've got a ticket for the afternoon showing today.

Shaun Cheah

Yeah but how was that Detective Pikachu trailer though?

Narutaki

Okay I've watched this video twice now and I still can't believe this was a released to theaters! Especially bullet points #12 and #13. Even Giant Porg looks confused in the background.

Luis

Creed II is really good. They create actual meaning for the characters, which JK completely failed to do in FB2. Trying all these clever plot twists is stupid and wrong if there’s no setup and don’t make logical sense. Creed II stays tight to its main story and it’s much more entertaining as a result.

Jonathan Baldie

Lost it at the Holocaust part. Dumbledore let 1.5 million kids die... why? Because he didn't want to share the recipe for Butterbeer? No in-universe explanation is good enough.

Chris Dearing

Thank you for saving me $15

This video has been quite cathartic for me. I’ve been stewing about this train wreck since I got out of the theater. I said it in the preview comments but it bears repeating...Accio Baby. In this movie we see Newt actually say “Accio Niffler”. Why were they even on a boat to begin with? Newt can take a port key from England to France...whhhhyyyy boat??? So many contradictions, not just in the HP universe but within the movie itself! I could go on and on and on and on and on but I’ll stop.

I was hoping this one would be better than the first but it sounds like it isn't worth the price of admission. I appreciate the entertaining forewarning. I hope you re-visit the first film soon and give us an in depth review like this one :)

Tyler James

I've got a theory that in 1997 JK Rowling sold her soul to the devil in exchange for 7 best selling novels to make her the world's most successful novelist. Then when the deal ran out she decided to get greedy and start writing stuff herself. It's really the only explanation.

Chalko

Is it my computer, or is the audio getting softer and then louder for a few seconds at a time? It happens at ~8:55 and a few other times. I know there's probably nothing you can do about it for this video, but maybe you'd want to know for next time (if you didn't know already).

Hannah Boyer

Whether it was planned or not, I laughed at 'You're a liar, Jo. Look me in the eyes...' followed by you looking away from the camera. But you have nothing to fear from J.K.Rowling. I mean, you have three Korean women trapped on your bed. You're a great wizard, Jenny.

Stuart Payne

omg what if they did use your Dark Internet Rituals video to resurrect Johnny Depp?!

Luis

all black on black friday... i see what you did there.

anthony grey

Can we call their special friendship necklace a Borecrux? It's a lame version of a mechanic we've seen in Harry Potter.

James Murphy

Clancy? I think his name was Clancy

Christine Gerding

I appreciate not having to watch this but can you tell me if everyone in the movie is pronouncing Nagini wrong?

Ravi Pillalamarri

FB1: Production budget $180m Worldwide gross $814m FB2: Production budget $200m Worldwide gross $273m 😬 Still somewhat early doors but if one assumes a print & advertising budget of also around $200m that’s definitely looking like a ‘difficult conversation’ rate-of-return…

Shred Cadmium

I guess I shouldn't expect too much from Aquaman or Bumblebee.

Tom Bowling

☝️ Widows is another one; supposed to be excellent. (I should really go and actually see some of these films myself rather than just ignorantly forwarding recommendations... 😁🤷‍♂️)

Shred Cadmium

"Wizards can just go anywhere, kill anyone, heal any injury..." ...except for complications during childbirth, as it happens

Karla Blinoff

How can a list have more than 10 things in it?! I'm so confused... Er, anyway - I haven't seen it myself but apparently Overlord is pretty good. The Half in the Bag guys liked it, and I've seen/heard multiple independent thumbs-up confirmations 👍 Edit: actually, might not still be showing in cinemas, depending on where you are. Oof, doesn’t time fly?…

Shred Cadmium

Ugh! Are there any good movies in the theaters? Someone toss me a bone.
