Added 2019-05-13 07:19:08 +0000 UTCI bought these canson bristol sketchbooks at Michael’s this weekend! They were bogo 50% off. Sometimes I need something heavier than typical sketchbook paper to properly experiment! And it helps to be loose and willing to try new things when the sketchbook you buy isn’t expensive and you don’t make it feel precious.
Other sketchbooks I recommend:
• Illosketchbook
• Stillman & Birn (beta is my favourite the paper is pretty thick and it has some tooth to it!)
• Rendr by Crescent Creative (my favourite paper for markers by far)
