v0.50.1 Game Status
Added 2021-02-28 01:05:19 +0000 UTCEvening all, it's time for our second release of the month, and it's also time for...THE END. In that those are two words it was finally time for me to write, as the ending sequences for both main branches are now in the game! It was honestly a little strange writing those after so much time working on the game, and stranger still given that there's still a few months of development left to go.
Currently, once you complete the Climax Mission, if you have avoided the Bad End scenario you will get a series of scenes describing your takeover of the station. (For those wondering, the key branch decision here is how you choose to deal with the majority of department Directors.) It will then lead you into the epilogue stage of the game...which doesn't exist yet, so currently it will just return you to normal gameplay. I'll talk more about next month's plans on Monday, but for now I can say the Bad Ends and the start of the epilogues will be the main focus.
We also have a new Citizen Encounter CG set added tonight, which with 9 variants may be the most versions yet we've done of a single scene. Other citizen scenes are still in progress, and we'll be working soon on art to go with the new endings, so something to look forward to! For now, patch notes below, game links to follow:

Game Functions:
- Once you complete the Climax Mission successfully, you will be shown a number of endgame scenes before returning to the Office. 'Bad End' results will currently show placeholder content. For now, once the endgame is complete, you will be returned to standard gameplay.
- The Climax Mission can no longer be repeated once completed.

Known Issues:
- TTS dialogue cannot be interrupted once begun. May have issues if triggered on multiple screens at once. TTS support is 64-bit Windows only.
- WebGL Issues: Be warned that save game data in WebGL mode is less permanent than PC standalone. May also be more prone to memory and other issues.
