v0.35.1 Game Status

Evening all, here with our second release for the month! We've got a mix of updates in for you tonight.

First off, we have our final Department background art in the game, added to all the main scenes, and I'll probably be looking at adding those into the introduction sequence soon as well. Also speaking of backgrounds, I've added a bit of an outline to the main texts, which should make things a little more readable against the various colors. While I had a bit of a schedule delay last week, with my time off from work this week I was able to catch up and get in a new Specialist scene, and get in some extra time for typo hunting.

The main thing I'd like to mention however is the new Science Lab mission encounters, which include...impregnation content! This is something that's been requested a couple times over the course of the project, but I've generally been negative on due to a couple of difficulties: namely that everyone involved is usually of different species, and also because the gender preference options make things a little more complex. However, thanks to the powers of SCIENCE, today we have a one-time exception which could potentially open to the door to more in the future. If you have any thoughts on whether this should or should not happen, your feedback is always appreciated.

As I mentioned earlier, our next free release and monthly update is currently planned for Monday. Until then, patch notes below, links to follow, enjoy!

Bug Fixes:

• Several typos fixed in Specialist, Codex and Department texts.​

Known Issues:

• TTS dialogue cannot be interrupted once begun. May have issues if triggered on multiple screens at once. TTS support is 64-bit Windows only.
• WebGL Issues: Be warned that save game data in WebGL mode is less permanent than PC standalone. May also be more prone to memory and other issues.
