July in Review

Evening Coup followers! I'll start off by announcing that v0.18.1 is now posted free on our game blog, which I won't link here due to Patreon rules, but hopefully you can find your way. In game news I can say our tutorial revamp phase is now complete, and I'm moving more fully into Specialist relationships, which I talked about a bit yesterday. Octopussy was the winner of our Specialist poll, with Grunt, Piledriver, Hummer and Princess all tying for second place, so you can expect to see a few of those in the next month. I can also say that Octo's artwork is already completed, but didn't quite make it into the last release, but patrons can keep an eye out for art previews in the near future.

For other poll news, our Random Encounter poll closed with a request for a Cloner in need of a strong, brave firefighter to help put out her fire with their big hose, so you can look forward to those and other fire related double entendres in the near future. I'd also like to thank our project artists who had perhaps more submissions last month than in any month so far - at this rate we'll be completed with Specialist art a bit sooner than I was thinking, so you can probably expect to see a poll soon on the next priority. In addition, I'll also be working more to expand the accessibility controls I discussed yesterday. If anyone has any feedback on the ease of getting into the game between the new introduction and the new controls, comments are always welcome!
