Spuffy/Bangel (part 5.1) + comic dub teaser!

Here we gooooooooo! I will be dubbing all of the Spuffy and Bangel bits in the comics (definitely mostly Spuffy, but not until the end of season 8, so be patient!) Most of this video is Angel season 5, which unfortunately Buffy does not make an appearance for, but that does not mean she is not talked about a lot! And then I leave you with a bit of a teaser from the comics ;)

I will be releasing more parts as I go, in the $1 tier (early access). The whole project (except for this part) will not make its youtube debut until it is finished, so consider joining if you'd like to see the comic dubs sooner! It will probably take several months to finish because we gotta get all the way to season 12...

Just to give you a bit of background if you are new to the comics... Buffy season 8 is set about 1 year after season 7 ends. This means Angel season 5 happens during that "gap" year, and then both comic series begin at the same time. However, in "Angel After the Fall" (continuation of Angel's story after season 5), they are in a hell dimension, which takes up no time on earth. So basically his whole story happens, THEN Buffy season 8 happens. This is important because Angel is actually... um... present for all of Buffy season 8, but doesn't make himself known until the very end. Once we get to season 9, both series happen simultaneously, with some crossovers, just like in the show. This means, after some Bangel action in season 8, we shift to pretty much all Spuffy, with some jealousies and tensions sprinkled in.

I'm so excited to dive into this story, you guys! If you've never read the comics, my goal is to make the relationship story still make sense (which is why it needs to be Bangel + Spuffy) but there will be some references that make you go huh?

Angel is the "big bad" of season 8, going by the name "Twilight". Spike travels through space with a bunch of giant cockroaches. Xander and Dawn get together, after which Buffy comes onto Xander in a moment of insanity. And oh yeah, she sleeps with one of the slayers. Angel kills Giles, and then he is later resurrected as a pre-teen. Warren is resurrected, without his skin. And Dawn spends much of season 8 as a giant.
